Some of the theories you posted were ok, but how the strawberry float would nobody have noticed that?

I believe he's referring to an ice bridge. If you watch the opening credits the sea ice in the map in the north seems to now spread further south than the wall.

That makes more sense.

That’s a pretty big flaw in the whole “let’s build a big wall to keep them out” strategy. It might work for Trump as the gulf of Mexico is unlikely to freeze, but the Westeros sea to the north in winter?

I still don’t think it’ll happen that way though. They’ve been teasing us with a massive wall for years, they will knock that strawberry floater down.

I hope it's not something lame like they just walk around The Wall. I want a big battle or that door that they let Bran in to be breached.

Especially as they sent the wildlings up to one of the castles on the wall, there's got to be a battle there surely.

The only thing that would be more disappointing is if at the final battle the White Walkers pull out fire extinguishers and spray them at the dragons. :slol:

OK, I was slightly wrong, its actually the sea to the west of the wall which has frozen over.

The walkers are attacking Eastwatch which funnily enough is east.

This seasons intro shows the sea to the east as having frozen over.

I mean they've only paid their debts. Why would the Iron Bank give them more money when they're surely the underdog in the war?

What I didn't understand was the comment from the guy from the bank that some of the bankers were a fan of the Lannisters interest payments. So if the Lannisters were keeping up their interest payments then why were the bank calling their loan in? It made no sense. The whole point of a loan is that the bank makes money off the interest payments.

I think they're calling it in because they want their money before Cersei loses and nobody pays anything.

Yeah I was thinking that but in episode 3 (I think) they were discussing the bank financing her war efforts. After episode 4 you would think they bank would just take the money and run.

She's paying it off in one go to keep the iron bank on her side.

Do we actually know where the Iron Bank is located as why doesn't someone just invade them?

The Free City of Braavos. I assume they'd fund the enemies of those who'd try to invade or who don't pay their debts.

The Faceless Men are from the same city so maybe the Iron Bank would pay them to assassinate the invader's leadership too.

The Iron Bank are going to be furious when they find out where Cersei robbed the money from.

It would destabilise the entire economy, not even the Mad King would go that far.
