I mentioned in the things that annoy you thread about a guy at work that has started watching this. He has finally taken my advice and took out a Now TV trial and is trying to binge it all before his trial expires.

I know he is currently about halfway through Season 3. I can’t wait until he gets to the Red Wedding.

Work was quite glorious when that happened. Still remember hearing the reactions to it.

Did the tour yesterday and the coach driver told us some locations that have been closed off for filming the final season.

It was really cool to see iconic locations and we even got to see of the outside set of Winterfell.

Did they mention where Cersei will be when she becomes the eventual winner?

Cersi will be sat on the throne downing bottles of cheap Asda wine after she’s strawberry floated everyone up. She’s gonna strawberry float em up. strawberry float em up big time.

I’m hoping we should be about due a teaser soon.

Cersei will die and Jon and Daenerys will win.

After all the promise of nobody being safe and anything could happen, it'll be the most predictable ending ever.

The books might be different, but GRR Martin will never finish them so we'll never know.

I fear you are correct.

The quality of the last season was a real nosedive.

Maybe of old age and being so successful as the one true king who Makes Westeros Great Again that they turn her into a living God.

Agreed.

I think Moggy's probably right, seems to be drifting into standard Hollywood style territory.

Or after 6 seasons of build and exposition - we are in the payoff area. That's why the pacing was different last season. Teleporting notwithstanding.

The pacing was completely different as they did not have a book to base the season off. Old George has written himself into a corner which is why we may never see book 6, and I agree with Moggy without a book the series is just going to go all Hollywood, and Danny and Jon will fly off into the sunset together. The end
