I had tears in my eyes at that scene. When Arya was asking her to come with her - it's the first time she's seemed like the little kid she was before all the gooseberry fool happened.
Loved her joy at the news from Hot pie as well.

That's how I took that scene as well. Both are now changed and while not enemies no longer need each other which is both sad and a sign of progress.

I also enjoyed the scene with Hot Pie as it showed Arya that there are decent people in the world who just don't get recognised as they're just doing ordinary jobs. I think she need to hear the news about John from someone like him who she knows won't lie to him (she said it almost automatically due to her recent experiences rather than really thinking Hot Pie would lie to her) as he's genuinely her friend.

I know I'm an old softy but I really hope Arya has a happy ending and just ends with a nice quiet life maybe as a sword trainer as she's certainly skilled enough to do so.

Pretty sure she was the one hanging from the stem of the ship as Euron sailed away.

Yeah it was definitely two of the sand snakes that were on the bow of the ship. One hanging from her whip and the other stabbed with spears. The other sand snake was taken with her mother.

I rewatched the ending and the scene appears to just end as he pushes Yara to the side although he probably still has a hold of her. I think he has probably taken her with him as well.

If thats the case then payoff will surely be Theon growing a pair (a new on obviously) and killing his uncle to save her or she dies in his arms etc.

Yeah that would make sense

There is a potential spoiler inside the spoiler box. Hence the use of the spoiler box. If you click on a spoiler box please do not be upset if it contains a spoiler.

with the leaked pics on Theon in the background when Jon Snow is at dragonstone

I know it's in a spoiler box but can you at least state that that is a future episode spoiler?

As cowardly as it was, Theon diving overboard makes more sense tactically than him hopelessly attempting to fight Euron as at least now he can tell Danaerys what happened.

I'm starting to think Dany made a serious mistake returning to Dragonstone as Euron's fleet could quite easily trap her there by sinking or stealing her ships.

I initially thought that was what would happen when I saw all her ships just anchored in the bay so I thought he would just show up and sink all the ships.

Also as I said before Theon inadvertently saved both his and Yara's lives by jumping over board. As Euron would clearly have killed both of them.

Another great ep, really happy with how much better Euron is this season, last time around he just didn't seem to live up to his reputation but now that he's been given a bit more screentime he's really come into his own. Only gripe I have is that the fight was way too dark to tell what was going on half the time, I get that irl it'd be dark and confusing but I'd have preferred a bit more clarity over realism.

As long as she's got her dragons around then she's safe at Dragonstone, if Euron attacks her there it'll just be Seige of Meereen 2: Fiery Death Boogaloo.
Unless of course (book spoiler) Euron has the dragon mind control horn thing.

Nah it's the sand snakes mum (can't remember her name) as she killed Cersie's daughter. Although maybe what's in the spoiler box happens as well.

I know. That's what i initially thought it was and then saw the trailer for episode 2 and thought it was them. Clearly it now is.

It won't be that as there would have been a mention of it before now, same with the horn of winter - neither seem to exist in TV Westeros.
