That was superb.

Loved Tyrions line when Dany nearly got herself killed, she's really going to have to teach someone who can actually fight how to ride a dragon.

Also, Jon is clearly going to bang Dany at some point, possibly in that cave whilst the dragons watch.

Thinking about the food situation again, there's a lot less people to feed now :shifty: .

A thought on Dany's tactics. Tyrion looked disapproving and seems more so in the trailer but what choice has he actually left her?
He isolated the unsullied, lost the power of the Greyjoy fleet and the considerable fighting skills of a Dornish Army as well as the resources and cunning of Olenna.

Dany pretty much had no choice but to attack the Lannister army. They dissuaded her from going postal on King's Landing - rightly so but she couldn't allow that force to arrive back at kings landing with those provisions.

Yeah I agree, her tactic of attacking the Lannister army with the Dothraki and a dragon was a good idea. She's not gone all mad king by burning innocents in King's Landing and has inflicted a defeat of her enemy.

Assuming the dragon is ok and she captures Jaimie then it was a pretty damn successful raid imo!

It also means her Unsullied can march to join her with that major obstacle removed.
Tyrion is clearly worried she'll be just like Cersei but she's shown restraint whilst accepting that sometimes you've got to be ruthless.

Surely Jamie is dead? I don't see how even a dragon is going to be able to scoop him out of that deep water.
And there was no music over the credits, which usually only happens when a big character dies in shows.

He's one of the few characters that is going to be there until at least the last couple of episodes, if not survive outright.

It wouldn't make any sense to have him be saved from the dragon only to drown two seconds later.

Jaime is definitely not dead, I reckon he'll somehow manage to get his armour off and swim to the surface.

Besides, he'll be the one who kills Cersei so can't die yet.

One of the great things about Game of Thrones, is that it has managed to make you think that no-one is safe from being killed at any point. During that battle I was sure one of Daenerys, Jamie, Bron or Drogon were going to snuff it. Of course thinking rationally about it after there's no way Daenerys or Jamie are dying now but you never know what's coming up for any of the characters.

If they were going to kill Jamie off he would have been melted by the dragon. There would have been no reason to do the stupid diving save move thing.

That facepalm worthy moment aside, great episode.

Not sure how much of bran flakes I can take any more. The worst plot thread.
