On the scene between Tyrion and Cersei.

“their little come-to-Jesus scene laid bare the respective pain which turned Tyrion righteous and responsible, and Cersei bitter and savage.”

Love that.

Bitch, he killed himself. Because you killed his wife.

So, who's coming for the Mountain, then? Or did the Hound just mean himself?

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Watched the whole of the new series over the last 3 days. Reading this thread.

Plenty of spectacle (puts plenty of films to shame) to enjoy but I really feel its being rushed now. I thought this was happening last year but even more so now. I think Parksey summed it up well in that it now feels like the plot is forcing the characters around rather then the characters forging the story. Its lost the small details that made it work for me. As such the big events have had less impact on me and I no longer really care who lives or dies. Like why is Gendry involved? He seems a pointless addition to things. Getting Tyrion into Kings Landing is glossed right over. That should have been a decent chunk of an episode itself. Why has Euron decided to not just kill Theon and Yara? He would have had they not fled. The Hound suddenly sees things in the fire.

What the hell happens to Dawns involvement? Did they not find a new leader? And how the strawberry float does Jon survive being under freezing water for well over a minute getting his clothes soaked having spent a night (plus days?) freezing and then I don't know how long in the cold on a horse that trots about for I don't know how long because the concept of traveling time has become so strawberry floated in this show it seems pointless.

I wish the show would clarify how the White Walkers/dead guys work. In the first season a dead chap wakes up in Castle Black. They burn bodies to stop this from happening. Now it seems that the walkers turn them and control them.

Ah well. At least the rushing about makes it more likely I'll read the books one day if they ever get written.

Now a plot line where they had killed him in secret and Arya pretended to be him and manipulated everything would have been epic.

I though that was going on for a bit a couple of episodes, Arya seeing if she could get Sansa to admit to wanting to kill her of something similar. Would have been good.

I'm just looking forward to wave after wave of celebrity cameo's in the final season.

The Prince that was Promised turning out to be Will Smith being my most anticipated.

Sean Connery rides in as Robert's long lost Scotch brother and takes the iron throne.

Just can't wait for the damn thing to be over so some sort of resolution is finally reached.

As for this season, would rather we had more episodes and things moved a little slower.

Don't worry, George RR Martin is nowhere near publishing.
