That ending was incredible. Such a great pay-off with the way it all tied together.

Must have a gooseberry fool version. I saw on Reddit that there's more than one out there. Mine looks fine.

The 1080 one I got (with some dude's MacBook interface in the first couple of seconds) looked good in stills but had an uneven frame rate, aggressive compression, and (worst of all) really awfully encoded sound.

Is there only one dire wolf left now?

*edit* Also, was that ending from the books? Incredible if that was the plan all along.

Apart from learning basic manners, most of this episode was filled with story lines that aren't currently too interesting.
They need to just restrict it to Jon, Kings Landing, and Tyrion for awhile.

I think it is now obvious what is going to happen as well.
Bran is going to break the walls magic, thus letting the zombies across. Which is a bad thing, as I always hated the zombie story line. There is enough going on, you don't need it.

Other than stuff with the greyjoys and possibly bits of Riverrun.

None of this has appeared in the books yet.

hence why I'm haunted by 'hold the door!'

That was bloody harrowing!

Two - Arya's is roaming free somewhere and Jon's is with him in the North.

That's possibly going to be one of the most memorable TV scenes in any show ever. I can't get the scene out of my head.

Great episode even if it did turn into Game of World War Z at the end. ;)

I agree. One of the greatest character deaths of all time. I was handled with care and made perfect sense that a boy being part of his own death in the future may turn him into what he became. It makes the character even more memorable and he was memorable anyway as a gentle giant.

Amazing but ultra sad  .

strawberry floating hell that ending

Was it because Bran and the Three-eyed Raven were 'there' at the time that caused young Hodor to see his own death and thus become mentally scarred or would that have happened anyway? I'm starting to think that maybe when Bran goes on a 'Misty-eyed journey' he is actually partly there in both places simultaneously hence the Walker King being able to see him

I think the Three-Eyed Raven is the one with the power to make them invisible in the visions, but they're actually there. Hence why snow sticks to Bran when he's in the vision in this weeks' episode, or why Ned heard his voice in the previous one.

I can access my regular search site. If anybody has a link please PM me!

Am thinking about the NowTV Entertainment trial. Does anyone know if GoT is included with it and if they have the latest episodes? Ta.

I'm glad Sansa is acting a little more sensibly but she should have had Briene kill Littlefinger.

I loved the play at the start. I was thinking that Arya wouldn't be able to keep her cool and would start chopping them up.

After strawberry floating up Hodor's entire life and then getting him killed, I hope that little gooseberry fool Bran starts doing some awesome gooseberry fool. :x

Bran's a sociopath. Giving Hodor brain damage, repeatedly possessing him and getting him eaten alive by zombies purely to save himself- that's dark. Jaime did the world a favour when he shoved him out the window. His only mistake was not finishing the job.

The brain damage thing might not have been deliberate but it fits a pattern with him of doing stupid gooseberry fool and not learning from the consequences.

Told not to climb, ends up pushed off a tower.

Told not to strawberry float around warging, ends up giving a man time travel brain damage and then gets the poor strawberry floater eaten.

Whoever said Bran's next trick will be to destroy the wall and let the White Walkers through is spot on I reckon. The stupid little banana split.

Think this is part of Bran's learning curve personally. Hodor was obviously Hodor when Bran was born. Hence the three eyed Raven knew this was how he became Hodor. Hence he had to go back and do it. Otherwise, why start greenseeing when you know the whitewalkers are coming? A safer course would have been for Bran, Hodor and Meera (and Summer) to leave the second they knew the Night King was coming. Maybe Bran needed this lesson as to the harm Warging can do (don't forget it looks like he is the first who can do it to a human) alongside interfering when greenseeing.
