It never ceases to amaze me that characters travel around this world so quickly. I'm pretty sure that Jaime is a wizard at this point.

Unless they can sail 'through' Westeros, there's big rivers running across the width from the Iron Islands through to Braavos.

I'm looking at the map and I can't see a river which runs from the west coast of Westeros to the east, the Mander is closest but that seems to end before the Kingswood. Even if it did though you don't want to take a fleet of 1000 ships down a river.

With Theon involved who knows what stupid gooseberry fool they will do!

I'm not sure they have 1000 ships though. Didn't they take the ships that the ironborn had already? Euron hasn't yet built the 1000 ship fleet.

I thought they'd stolen the entire Iron Fleet which Euron said was 1000 ships strong. Euron then decided to build a whole new fleet somehow.

Maybe I misunderstood, I thought he was telling everyone he was going to build 1000 ships and then they saw Theon's gang fleeing.

The Lezzy scene in this was hilarious. Theon's awkwardness

He should form the Brotherhood of no Penises with Varys.

I have to say, Big Cock is not really how I pictured him. I assumed the multiple cultures he visited would have an impact on the style of clothes he wears. He just looks like an Ironborn.

Really is a poor effort, he doesn't even have the patched eye. Can see him being only a minor villain on TV which is a shame, he had so much potential. They ought to have had him sail in on the Silence just as the Kingsmoot was coming to a head, give him the creepy entrance he deserved.

They haven't really bothered much with the Greyjoys, there's some really interesting stuff about them in the books that the show writers have simply ignored.

I won't go into detail but I suspect/hope the 'ser friendzone' storyline with him trying to find a cure for his greyscale will include bits from one of Eurons other brothers (who isn't in the show) storlines.

There's also some interesting stuff I hope they keep from Eurons storyline, but again that's heading towards book spoiler territory so I'll say no more.

The Vikings occasionally hauled their longboats over land where there were no navigable rivers so I'd imagine their Westerosi equivalents could probably do the same if they had to. Just not in the time-frame we're seeing here (it'd take weeks not days).

I don't even know why they've bothered with the Ironborn side gooseberry fool, who really gives a strawberry float what's going down with Euron and that lot.

Really enjoyed that episode, think it's the first one of the series I've properly liked.

What's this talk about last episodes? There's still a few more to go, right?

Ironhide, I appreciate you took care to not post anything you would perceive as a 'spoiler,' but regardless this post was reported. Like I say, I don't know anything about Game of Thrones, but I've seen very frequent reports in this thread so it's obviously bothering the sub-community here. I'll say again:

NO BOOK DISCUSSION means NO BOOK DISCUSSION. If in doubt: Don't MENTION the books, don't ALLUDE TO the books, PRETEND THE BOOKS DON'T EXIST.

I don't want to thread-ban anyone so please can we do better from now on. Peace out.
