Yep good episode and season. It did feel a bit rushed though, as they were tying up loose ends.
Is the next season going to be the last?

Tommen's scene reminded me of this:

Brilliant episode, even got to see what that spinning thing in credits is based on. Lots of pay off and thing's finally coming into place, End game is definitely on the cards.

Such a good episode, maybe enjoyed it even more than the last.

Dat Wildfire attack, King in The North, Jons true birth, Tyrion as Hand, Arya, Dany finally crossing the sea 8-)

Im pretty sure Lucien has never enjoyed anything ever.

There were Tyrell ships in the fleet. They've joined up with Dany and are on the warpath together.

It's hanging from the roof in library where Sam is.

Yeah had a wee smile at that pretty cool. Two of them, look like planets with ring around them, camera pans across one from the ceiling.

Oh right, really didn't pay attention to that.

Anyway it was a great episode.

I'm not sure if this is a spoiler or not as I get mixed up so only read if you have knowledge of the books as I'm confused about what's been revealed in the show now

so did that reveal that Jon snow is half targaryen? Or just that he is neds sisters son?

Also does anyone else think Jamie will end up killing cersei?

So I can talk about it on here then and it's not a potential spoiler? I find it odd that no ones talking about it as surely it's the biggest revelation from the episode.

I presume you can talk about it because:

Most already guessed it, as the theory's been around for quite a while now.

Pretty much.

Loved how the pie scene was alluded to by Bran in season 3.

Yes  First thing that popped into my mind when I saw it. Was laughing and almost choked on my coffee. Same with the Arya scene which I found unintentionally funny too.

Also, did that library remind anyone else of the Duke's Archives from Dark Souls?

I would presume that it can be discussed now - it wasn't just established that he wasn't Ned's bastard, but it did explicitly say 'Rob would kill him if he finds out' which is tells us he was a threat to Rob's claim to the throne and thus must be Targaryen, so I think there was enough in the episode to make it something that can be openly discussed now.

Also - WHAT A strawberry floating EPISODE.

Legit possibly the best ever. No one can complain about the showrunners not knowing how to carry the story forward after over taking the books. This is Breaking-Bad levels of seeing all of the pieces moving into place for a final showdown. No more pointless expansion of storylines, no more silly meandering, shitty storylines being, *cough* burned away - we're definitely in the home stretch now.

However.

Margaery. :(

Thank god those high sparrow wankers are gone for good. That gooseberry fool far outstayed its welcome. Great episode though, still. Never thought I would enjoy Cersei being a maniac. I will admit I have no idea what's going on with Sam's story, though, partly because I totally tuned out during his scenes in the last episode he was in.

No white walkers this season makes me sad :(

Yeah. I thought they'd go with a parting shot of the Night King.

Benjen explained the wards of the wall that prevents the dead from passing. So next season is all bout the battle for the iron throne and Jon preparing to repel the Dead.

The season has to end with wall coming down. Setting up season 8 for westeros united against the Walkers and the dead.

Loved Cersei being utterly evil. Great scenes. That was truly ghastly watching her relish the upcoming torture and defilement of the septa st the hands of Zombie Clegane.

Had big concerns this season as they'd caught upto the books. But they swept aside those concerns with stunning aplomb.

Great season with the best Denoument of all of them.
Cannot wait for next one.

This is the beginning of the end, I presume Sam will end up being happy but the 2 queens now are going to fight, I can't wait. Khaleesi to marry Jon Snow at some stage.
