They're basically trying to resurrect arcades in the internet era? Why?

It’s an opportunity to catch up and challenge pals in person, not over a headset, because gaming together is altogether better.

But we're already used to headsets and catching up/playing online now. It's far more convenient and there's a far larger community of players.

All that's been holding eSports back is the lack of a communal venue!

Play Hard. Party Hard.

...

Gaming Arenas.

I'm not seeing the correlation. Like telling someone you're going to [a] party ...at the bowling alley down the road. LIVING THE DREAM.

I'm not sure they should admit where all their Teeside pre-owned stock comes from either

Both Bristol stories (only place with 2) have the same team name - I'd have thought they might have got a bit more "team idenity"/"friendly competition" if they were rivals.

I'm wearing Belong, by GAME. Lacks the general sophistication of Lynx, but it's passable.

Such great LIMITED TIME bank holiday deals at GAME...

For a LIMITED TIME ONLY, get Doom for just £9.99 pre-owned!

...or get it brand new at Amazon (£9.49), Tesco (£10), Argos (£9.49) and Shopto (£9.85).

They'd rather you bought preowned as they get all of the money.

I wonder if all those phones in the window are from looters.

Credit to GAME for bringing attention to Hurricane Imra though. HASHTAG The Forgotten Hurricane.
