It was pretty much a testing ground to see how a free-roaming game would work in 3D. A lot of the experience that was gained in making Body Harvest was then used to develop GTA3.

Hehe.

I did. The only thing worse than the framerate is the draw distance. It's impossibly hard, too.

I loved Body Harvest at the time (only managed to get to Siberia though), but I'm too scared to go back to it now in case it toches my memories.

Don't ever play it again. Cherish the memory.

Something like a re-imagined, (I'm all into this concept since the wii silent hill announcement), Body Harvest would be a good idea for a new game though. Surprising that no one has really nicked the idea.

And another thing, what's with all the lack of Killer7 hate ?!

Killer 7 is one of the games I took an instant dislike to.

Bought it, stuck it in the console, hated it, stuck it up on ebay.

I finished it and I still think the twist toward the end is one of the best ever. Worth it just for the gun fight in the fairground car park with Ayame Blackburn and the fight against the Handsome Men.

On topic I downloaded Cruisn USA off the VC this morning and was amazed at how smooth it ran. The draw distance is pretty impressive for a first-wave N64 title and the frame rate is rock solid.

Cruisn' USA got awful reviews at the time; I seem to remember it getting around 38% in most magazines.

It wasn't that bad at all, nor was Cruisn' World. Not classics, but not awful.

Started playing Blast Corps today. It's a bit good, isn't it?

I loved Blast Corps. It's a great action puzzler. It gets very hard and frustrating near the end though. The last couple of levels are complete bastards.

I loved it too. I especially loved how every level started as an 'action' type level - clear the path as soon as possible - and then when you replayed them were all about searching through the level at your own pace trying to find everything.

The combination of those two things mad Blast Corps irresistible for me.

Got all the gold medals too. Didn't really bother with the platinum medals though. A little too hard...
