This is going to get a clean sweep of 6s if it's not careful. Most disappointing.

Phantasy Star Portable 5

What happened here then? I thought this was going to be the return of PSO.

probably because it only has local multiplayer and not a proper online mode which would have been awesome in my opinion.

I really love PSP, and would give it a 7 easily. I always been a fan of dungeon crawlers though and dont mind slogging through in 1-player. I always got on with the 1-player in PSO. The problem with PSP is it has no online mode and local wifi is full of lag so its not worth it. It plays well though, has some nice weapons and a nice streamlined menu system which EDGE rubbished but I reckon is better than wandering around a huge space station for a portable game.

If you want something closer to the original PSO better wait for PSZero on the DS, which is due out at Xmas.

I wonder why they chose to review Emerald City Confidential out the blue like that.

I need some help here. Did I completely imagine reading a positive-ish GamesTM Lux-Pain review? It may have been a 6, I guess. I can't find reference to it on the interwebs, so I think I may be going a bit mad.

And will probably last all of a month too. The summer drought barely exists these days.

Silent Hil Shattered Memories (looks very good)

Don't suppose they gave any more info or details about how decisions impact the game world? (I've only seen the changes that happen to Cybil, some more info about changes to the game world would be nice)

Dr K is a therapist who will show up periodically and evaluate the player, his impromptu therapy sessionscomprises interactive psychological tests that the player must answer. The responses you give, combined with your behaviour throughout the game, will determine the course of the narrative and also alter the appearances of the monsters......This is no diluted Wii version; it's a thankful departure from the disappointing misfire that was Homecoming

Sounds good.

Actual summer = July, August and September, right?
