Good issue apart from the revelation that madworld is not all it's being cracked up to be, prepare for massive disappointment :(

What did they say? It's the only known Wii game in development that interests me.

two solid and sexy hours of fun before the novelty wears off......What looks like a core game, sounds like a core game and is marketed like a core game, but isn't a core game? As much as it pains us to say it the punchline might just be Madworld....made with Wii's audience in mind

MadWorlds's background has whetted the appetite of Wii's attention-starved core gamers, but every time we see the game it becomes apparent that this is not the answer to their prayers

Basically it will have the depth of a puddle by the look of it.

If you believe GamesTM, you'll believe anyone.

I mean you could just ignore all the other good previews its had...but that would be silly surely.

No that review was by a freelancer and they don't use them anymore. The magazine has changed so much over the last 18 months anyway.

I miss the Discworld games. 2 was excellent ("That's....death!"), & Noir would have been superb if it didn't LOSE THE strawberry floating PLOT about halfway through, plus it had some strange glitches so you couldn't complete it. Still a good game nonetheless.

Discworld is a travesty. It completely fails the "moon-logic" test of a good graphic adventure, where everything makes sense in it's own strange little way.

Looks the part, sounds the part. Plays like a pig inserted into a tree in order to scare down a cat that you use on an elephant to scare it away*.

*Not an actual puzzle. I think the game scarred me so bad that I've blocked out any memories of them.

It's a good issue this month with an (I think) excellent feature on Nintendo's business strategy.
