Ahh, those were the days. Day we went on we got to see the Macho-man and Ronnie o' Sullivan 8-)

I just know if this was brought back it would be turned into something aimed at the kids. Channel 4 have been shocking lately for entertainment

Can't say I'm overjoyed at this news. Gamesmaster was excellent back in the day when games were still 'fun' and less serious but a new Gamesmaster in todays videogame climate just wouldn't work. It needs to be more upmarket/professional with interesting debates.

Games are still fun matey. More than ever. A new Gamesmaster should reflect this. I don't want to see 'interesting debates'.

Loved the show but yet again, No Dominic Diamond/Patrick Moore, no sale. They could always bring Dexter Fletcher back though.... :shifty:

Oh without doubt games are fun but some aren't just fun...some are fun and compelling, some are fun and emotional etc... The new show should reflect the current state of gaming. A mix would be best.

I'd watch this but only with Pegg as the presenter and Brooker as Gamesmaster, complete with retro GM look :D

But its Gamesmaster, its always been aimed at younger gamers. However this TV show turns out it'll almost certainly be pretty similar in tone to the magazine in much the same way that the Top Gear magazine reflects some of the sensibilities of the TV show.
