UK high street retailer Gamestation will be slashing the prices of video games by up to 50 per cent as it looks to attract customers over the traditionally lucrative Easter holiday season.

“We have our most compelling campaign outside of Christmas with a range of half price titles, to attract thousands of customers into store,” said Gamestation’s head of marketing Emma Kitching.

"We anticipate this will be Gamestation’s biggest Easter campaign," she added.

“This is also the first time that we will run with our amazing half price campaign outside of Christmas, which makes it our strongest value offering for customers at this time of year," said Kitching.

Kitching concluded: "We’ve got great games at great prices."

Pretty good sale from what I saw yesterday. Madworld was about £18, and Fable 2 and Dead Space were 2 for £30.

No. Seen it in Sainsburys for £8 and I think HMV were selling it on-line for £4.99.

It was £4.99 on the HMV website a couple weeks back. I purchased it, even though I don't even have a Wii.

I was in Gamestation today and they had some good bargains, all for games I already own / played :fp: However, I was tempted by Ninja Gaiden 2 for £9.99, although I don't know if I could stand the punishment.

Ninja Gaiden 2's not too bad on the lesser difficulty, I'm at the last boss now and it aint been too much of a struggle, though he's proving to be a bit of a bastard. I paid a tenner for it and I'm not dissapointed.

GameStation is going downhill - My local one's been quiet a lot. One of the staff is always miserable!

I prefer Game now - Friendly and cheerful staff, more games etc.
