Shift 2: Unleashed - 6/10
Seems harsh, from what I have played so far it is higher than a 6.
My issue has dropped through letter box, will read through the review later.

Basically the 3DS didn't have a big game, should have got Zelda ready on time.

Ghost Recon! Honestly, it's brilliant.

That's one horrible cover.

Street Fighter, Ghost Recon and Ridge Racer. Once again you are going by one mag's review scores when it suits you, and a GamesTM score at that.

Complete nonsense. 5 really good games and a completely stunning piece of tech doesn't require 1 'really big' game.

The strategy of having games to release throughout the year after launch should pay off in a far bigger way than having too many great games at launch.

You need one big game at launch, as in an AAA Zelda, Mario or Halo.

It has some good games and I've enjoyed Ridge Racer and Pilotwings but neither are a killer app. No Zelda, no browser, no shop at launch, it all seems a bit rushed when you add in the black screen and loose screen problems.

3D is the 3DS's killer app.

Pilotwings is a great game by the way, game of the year so far.

It would be interesting to see what they said about Homefront because the 7/10 score suggests they think its as good as KZ3, which it clearly isn't.

I wouldn't even say Pilotwings is as good as Ridge Racer. The 6/10 it has received in Edge and gamesTM is about right for me.

Why are they only reviewing torchlight now, It was released in 2009?

It's the XBLA version.

If you've not been trying to Perfect the Missions you haven't really played the game yet.

You could say that about any game really, I've played enough to know it is a decent but not great game, that's pretty much what both Edge and gamesTM are saying also.

No you really can't.

It turns into a completely different game when you try to get the most out of it.

Unless it turns into Crysis 2 then I doubt that.

I was thinking of games it reminds me of, initially Super Monkey Ball came to mind, but thinking about it also Bayonetta.

Any game that rewards you the more you put into it.

Just playing through the missions you don't really get how good the game is, but when you are forced to push the game to the limits, you see how perfectly the controls, 3D and mission design complement each other, it comes together in a way you won't see unless you are going for those Perfect scores.
