I feel sorry for the designers. "Guess what, guys. You've got to create one hundred different cover designs for the next issue. And we're only printing 400 of each one."

I'm not surprised they didn't put a lot of effort into some of them.

Well I only managed to find one of the covers I was looking for, but seen as how it's the Official Best Game Ever™ Resident Evil 4 one, I'm not complaining so much. In a surprise twist, unlike with the Edge 200 where they all seemed to be distributed together in big bunches, every one I saw was different. Spotted a fair few, including...

Sabre Wulf, Day of the Tentacle, Command & Conquer, Nights, FFVII, Silent Hill 2, Hitman 2, Rez, Outrun, Kingdom Hearts, Burnout 3, Fallout 3, Rock Band and Halo.

Shadow, I hid that last one where no one will ever find it (behind a load of 360 Gamer magazines) if you'd like me to go back and pick it up tomorrow. The Silent Hill and Rez covers are lovely. If I can't find any more of the ones I'm after I might just see if they're still sitting there in a week or so. Speaking of the ones I'm still after...

If anyone wants a particular cover, you can phone up the Imagine Publishing shop to order it. Better be quick though, as it seems they have only two copies of each cover.

I didn't know about this and found a Yoshi's Island cover in Tesco tonight that looked so nice I had to buy it. Wouldn't mind that Resi 4 copy either right enough. :wub:

I saw the Tetris cover at Tesco the other day, I couldn't help but think the person responsible for the cover was really terrible at that game.

I was looking for magazine to read, so I just went and check to see if GamesTM is there, and there is two. One that I've never heard of (it was Speccy or something lol) and other being Goldeneye 007, and being huge Goldeneye 007 nut I had to get it.

Of course, I have yet to give it full read... :fp:

You haven't bought it yet, have you? At some point between pouncing like a maniac on the GameTM order site after reading Sabreman's post, emailing them over the weeking to try and reserve the covers I wanted and working out the combined price of even just the nicest four, with delivery on top, I completely lost my enthusiasm for the project. I mean, it's not like it's Edge or anything. If you picked it up already with the express purpose of passing it on to me, then you're a beautiful man and of course I'll buy it off you. If not, just leave it and thanks anyway. Some guy.

Also, Nick, there's a Nights one stocked somewhere near me. If you'd rather use me than the pirates at Ebay I could pick it up for you when I'm next in, that'd be maybe tomorrow.

Nah, I just hid the Deus Ex cover behind a bunch of PC Formats. No one buys that shite so it should be safe.
