Nice to see a respectable score for GH:OT, I can't see where all the hate has come from as it is a great hand held replica of the guitar hero experiance.

Depends how you look at it. Considering the amount of time thats been put into it I'd say the score is about right. Too Human is not only medicore on the Xbox 360 today, it would of been mediocre some 10 years ago.

They might reveal that new horror game they are making with EA next month then.

Giving Too Human a score of 5 is just daft - especially as in the very same issue they give Space Siege a score of 6. Go online and check out the review scores for Space Siege against those for Too Human.

Games™ just got this wrong. Simple as.

As I said in the other thread:

The Alchemist Penguin wrote:Strangely, GamesTM gave it a glowing preview only a few issues ago, even going so far as to suggest it might do right, what Too Human did wrong.

They liked it just a little bit more, GamesTM isn't claiming Space Siege to be a masterpiece, they're still both badly flawed games.

Thats pretty crazy, as someone who has played both, one very much pales in comparison to the other. Indeed, both have their faults, but Too Human has genuine moments of inspiration, the awesome slide mechanic, huge environments that move between breathtaking and frustrating. Compared to Space Siege's very bland by the numbers design, and combat. Even with the lineage behind it, Space Siege is nothing but a bland, average game, that doesn't even seem to aspire to be something greater, and that, for me is where Too Human excels, it clearly has aspirations of being great, it just never quite reaches it, because of frustrating design choices.

Yep, I intend on waiting a wee while before getting Clear Skies, let the modders do their thing first.

SINCE WHEN HAVE EUROGAMER EVER GOTTEN ANYTHING RIGHT

Seriously. Their reviews are less than worthless. Case in point, Braids review.
EDIT

That review wasnt even that bad. 7/10 and the main complaints were it being too hard to find artifacts and the difficulty. Within about a week of release this game will be modded to bits fixing most of the issues id bet. Anyone playing oblivion lost would have an idea what CS is going to be like already. This is going to be awesome, confirmed :D

Didn't Edge only give it a 7 as well?

And an 88% from some PC mag i forget, and now a 9 from Games™, so those are decent scores. Besides, if i relied on magazine scores to tell me whats good and what isnt i wouldnt have palyed half my favourite games and id be wanking myself dry over turgid shitfests like Cod4. And as i said, the mod community made SOC great, they'll do it again for CS. Soc had so many problems it was almost unpalyable for me at first, but modding and patches made it one of my favourite FPS's of all time, i could'nt care less what reviewers say. As long as it has the zone, mutants, and some stalkan, ill be happy with it.

To quote Madonna, "poor is the man whos pleasures rely on the permission of another".
And i for one, think thats quite apt here.

You was doing so well until you mentioned that comment

You're the person who first referred to the Games TM score as "CONFIRMING" the new Stalker's "AWESOMENESS", no? :D
