Having started gaming a wee bit earlier than some GR folk, it does make me laugh when guys moan about "terrible" graphics and "slow" loading. Man, compared to the early 80s, we're now living in a period of almost unimaginable advances in gaming :) .

Apart from incomplete games, minimal variety and season passes, obvs.

That's true. My first system was a ZX Spectrum +2 that my dad got me at a car boot sale when I was maybe 4 or 5. Kids today will never have to experience real load times like that ever again.

Thing is I didn't even really consider the load times be long at the time as that was all I knew.
