Need a new gaming mice, been using a wireless micro mouse which was fine for rather relaxing games but now I'm getting back into Battlefield 3 and Black Ops 2, I need something that's large enough to comfortably grip and use but isn't going to cost a bomb.

Cheers!

Logitech G400

Costs around £25, does the job nicely without any flashy gooseberry fool.

Nice one cheers, might have a pop into PC World tonight to see if they have one.

Even if it's a fiver more than Amazon may as well get it tonight to use.

Cheers for the recommendation Trelliz, such a good mouse! Love the Dpi adjustments, plus the two side buttons. Much more comfier and easy to use than my old one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-M185-W ... 916&sr=8-3

Steel Sereis Sensei Raw - It's a bit pricey (I paid £40 at PC World, which is about as cheap as they get) but it's by far the best mouse I've ever used and it looks great as well.

:datass: No problem, I have one myself and it's just right, excellent hamstermouse-feel without loads of lights and frilly bits that cost more and don't do anything useful. It's essentially the MX518 but with a matte finish, and that was well regarded as a straightforward and no-nonsense mouse for the discerning gamer.

I got one of these the other day.

I honestly don't know what to make of it. It's quite the ugliest mouse I've ever owned, and most of the adjustment stuff seems kind of pointless (and some of it doesn't even seem to work if the software isn't loaded). On the other hand, it's quite comfortable, configurable and has a reasonably high DPI of 5600, so it's not exactly a lemon either.

I think I quite like it on the whole.

I used to have the RAT7 myself, You're right about it being ugly, but my God was it comfortable. Swapped it out for a Naga though 6ish months down the line. Needed more buttons :shifty:

I am still trying to find one that actually does what I need it to:

- Must not be a Logitech one with one of the wobbly free scroll wheels (even on bump scrolling mode, it still scrolls more than once through the weapons in FPS when I move it down one click).
- Must have at least 3 additional buttons
- These 3 additional buttons must be able to be assigned to the functions Volume Up, Volume Down and Volume Mute

So far there isn't a single mouse that can do all of these things :(
