So I've now got an Argos reservation for PSVR to collect by Tuesday. Just need to convince the wife and myself that it's worth it. Not sure who is going to be the harder sell...

Bloody hell at the amount of cables needed for this.

Lots of cables lets you know it's using lots of data so that's got to be good.
More data = better.
That's why I expect the PS5 to come with 3 HDMI cables to link to the TV so they can show all those pixels that will blow the Scorpio out of the water with it's no doubt wimpy 1 HDMI cable.

I've noticed the edges of the view are a little blurred, but the center of the image is clear. Probably my eyes though.

Only tried Rigs so far and, loading times aside, bloody hell

I can't decide between head turn steering and right stick steering. Head turn is faster and feels more intuitive, but right stick means I can look at everything around me without the whole rig turning.
I guess head turn will be better for actual play, but right stick better for just beholding things.

I know it may seem like an odd recommendation but give Tumble a go as it's fantastic and only £7.

Grr, bought Batman VR from cdkeys, but I can't actually get my key.
If I click the Download link in the confirmation e-mail I get a page that they're having some problems.
If I access my account and go to the My Orders section, my order is there but there's no link within the order (Or any of my orders) to access the key.

Is there any way on cdkeys website that anyone knows of to access your keys? Or is it purely via the Link in the order confirmation e-mail they send?

Go into the PSVR setting in the system options > Devices and calibrate the distance between your eyes to reduce any blurring effect. It's set as 73mm or something as standard which was WAY off for me. I think it changed mine to 55mm after I did the test.

Cheers.
Just given that a go and it's changed mine from a previous setting of 63 to 67, so will give it another go after lunch and see how that goes.

Gave Batman a try last night. It looks amazing, and that opening scene in the alley....bloody hell!
Unfortunately though my bedroom at my parents house (where I'm staying for Christmas) isn't quite big enough. I can't quite sit/stand far back enough from the TV for optimal positioning and there's too much stuff around to really move my arms enough. Should work perfectly when I'm back home in my living room though. I suspect Loading Human will be the same since that's another Move control game, same for Until Dawn that I grabbed from PSN.
Rigs worked fine with the dualshock though and Eve Valkyrie is another dualshock game so I'll be looking to give that a go later on today.

Better than Atari 2600 Dragster?

I doubt that very much.

Finally trying Arkham VR properly. It's great so far, but definitely the pickiest VR title. You have to be positioned pretty precisely in terms of distance from the camera, how high your head is, the angle of the camera, and I can see why it recommends standing up. Sitting in anything besides a stool means the chair gets in the way.

Definitely need to play it standing. I couldn't do it sitting down at all.

I managed to get through it sitting down, but the arms of the chair were in the way constantly.
My sofa is actually too far from where my TV and PS4 Camera are for the game to even work, had to bring a chair into the middle of the room instead.

My main disappointment though was the screen just going to black whenever you got into the Batwing or Batmobile though. strawberry float that, I want to be in the cockpit of those even if I'm not in control!

Looks like stock is finally becoming available again (Argos have reservations available for 3-4 days). Are any of the early adopters still playing regularly with theirs or is it gathering dust alongside the other peripherals in the cupboard?

Mine still gets around 3-4 hours use each week. Might not sound a lot but I only spend about 10 hours a week gaming anyways. Helps that I bought it at a time when I'd just had a bit of a cash windfall, so I splashed out on quite a few VR titles, so whilst most of the games don't offer much in the way of longevity, there's plenty of variety to be had.

I get the feeling that this is becoming "Move". What new titles are confirmed for release?

Yes?
