It's £249.99 with GT Sport and Fallout 4 at Currys.

I came here to post the same thing! It's an amazing deal especially when you compare it to the launch price last year year. PSVR is £110 cheaper + the £42 cost of Skyrim VR + £13 for PSVR Worlds. A £165 saving! It will also work to increasing the user base even more. Sony making strides in this gaming frontier.

Something else I hadn't realised would be so effective is the 'all around sound'

I just played Robot Rescue (or something similar) in VR Playroom, and the way that audio clues are used to get you to search up, down, around and behind was uncanny. Very impressive stuff.

That final bit before then end though - definite stomach lurch!

Love it! The exact same thing happened to me in the same place. I was filming with a camcorder so have probably filmed myself jumping of my sofa -but have yet to look at the footage.

Do Skyrim saves carry over to the VR version?

Sadly not. I read a comment from someone somewhere that said Bethesda are looking into it. I would love to be able to have a universal save so I could play a bit in VR then a good chunk in the standard game.

I think I'd get it if I could carry my save over but I can't face doing Helgen for a 6th time.

According to a preview I've just read, Doom works with the Aim controller. Now I'm interested.

Looks like, but I'm not sure if it'll make me ill. Game came yesterday so I'm planning to give it a go this afternoon.

The reviews are less than stellar, what are your thoughts?

I'm waiting till I can get an Aim controller before I buy it. Seems to be the best way from what I'm hearing.

Didn't manage to get on it yesterday, but I've been playing it for the last few hours...awesome.

Seems like its going to be pretty short (4 hours or so from what I've heard) and its far from perfect, but that doesn't take away from how amazing it feels to play.

Been playing with Aim controller, draw back is that way your character is portrayed ingame is clearly designed around having two separate controllers, using the Aim controller your left hand is stuck to the direction you are looking. It definitely hurts the immersion, but in terms of gameplay it doesn't seem to hold you back. Of course the main advantage is the ability to free move, I've got the right stick set to snap turning, not even tried smooth turning as I'm sure it would make me ill.

There are also secrets in the game so don't uncover this next bit if you want a surprise, there are classic Doom levels in the game in original graphics to unlock, not tried them yet but they look very cool.

If you have PSVR and the Aim controller, its a must purchase.

I have Doom VR but am waiting until Christmas to play it.
It was only £14 so I thought I'd give it a try.

I've got to agree with Hugo, Doom VFR is a massive dose of awesome. It takes any of the negatives associated with PSVR and just overcomes them by making you feel like an absolute badass. How it would play without the Aim controller I've no idea but with it its just :datass:

My gf bought me a PSVR.

I’ve got Doom and REVII (which is more scary in VR than playing normally, much to my gf’s amusement.)

Planning to get Batman. Also redownloaded Battlefront just for that X wing VR mission. My god... please tell me that there will be a full blow Star Wars game in VR coming soon?!
