Nope. Also not sure what that statement has to do with your previous reply. In fact I am sure, absolutely nothing.

Well in that case, if you truly cannot understand, then clearly there is nothing more to say. We end up right back at square one, 'my name is Hugo and I know better than everyone else'!

No. If I can't understand your insane logic, that means I'm saying I know better than everyone else? Just no.

That's bullshit and I don't have to accept it.

Hugo, I'm afraid I cannot be to blame for your lack of intelligence. No point in you getting upset about it.

I rarely post nowadays.

But saw a big jump in the PSVR thread.

Oh good I thought.

Nope. Just Robot boy rubbing people up the wrong way for the billionth time.

So Batman has been shown to five non gamers. Including my Mum. For the first time ever, I didn't show them ANY controls or tell them what they had to do. It was complete intuitive. Throwing. Putting on the suit. Turning keys. After, she they all removed the helmet, with a WOW OMG OR HOLY gooseberry fool.

VR - is the future of gaming. Please Sony. Support it.

Willing to admit you are wrong about Rez?

I played the demo of Rez back when it was first released and the demo again on VR and neither time I could see what all the fuss was about. It was boring. I would like to play the full game to see if it clicks as it's pretty universally praised, but my experience of it so far doesn't warrant me spending money on it.

Showed VR to one of my friends last night and he loved it. Got absolutely terrified at the Resident Evil and Shark demos, it was hilarious.

I really need to get another game for this, the only full game I've got is Thumper and while it's great, I'm not sure it gives the full VR experience. I really want to get RIGs but I'm waiting for it to go on sale somewhere. Batman is also on my list, but I'm waiting to get the move controllers first.

No. Rez is not just a 'good shooter' its an experience like no other. Batman might give you the Batman experience, but Rez is a transcendent experience, playing Rez Infinite is the best of what VR should be, it takes you to another world and fully engrosses you in it (like Batman) but at the same time (unlike Batman) it gives you a great game to play while you are in that world.

this is not even up for debate and i could not even say lets agree to disagree as you are simply wrong.

Batman is the VR experience that all should er... experience. Rez is just an ok simple shooter made better in VR.

if i want to show people games on my system, Rez is one of those i show. if i want to let people experience VR and be immersed in another World, Batman is the game i let them try and always select Batman last as something like Rez really disappoints if it's played after Batman.

Being the best thing to show people VR for the first time and just being the best VR experience overall are two completely different things.

Also I'd point out that if you think Rez is 'a simple shooter' then you haven't been paying attention when playing the game.

Well, as great as PSVR is, I'm now done with it until Sony fix the pass through problem. Now just sick and tired with swapping HDMI leads several times a week with the knock on effect of not wearing my HDMI sockets out.

Fix your strawberry floating gooseberry fool Sony.

The PSVR box doesn't support HDR pass through, so you have to unplug it and connect your TV directly to the PS4 again to get HDR.

Some people have managed to work around this with HDR compatible HDMI splitters connected before the PSVR box.

Don't think this is something Sony can fix without new hardware though, so the actual PSVR box would need to be changed. I doubt this is just a software problem that can be patched.

What spliters would that be? I've yet to find one that can pass HDR.

It's the problem that happens when you spend £1,000 on your new 4K HDR TV to connect to your new 4K HDR console to then find out you can't have that HDR once you put the PSVR headset in the system.

Sony's solution is that you have to swap HDMI leads every time you want to play PSVR games and then swap back when you want to play HDR games. Not only is it not practical to keep moving things to get at the cable, but will wear out the HDMI socket in short measure.
