Its not Kinect...but is it worth it? Difficult question to answer I think.
At the moment although there is some great content out there, its somewhat limited in scope and its expensive (as in the games are expensive for what they are, just because they are VR games). Its also obviously not a perfect system, while the Move controllers work they are old tech that's only just up to the job in VR, placing a 1080p screen right up close to your eyes is obviously comes with a downgrade in picture quality and then the games themselves have to be pared back to run at the required framerates for VR.
So you might read that and think its clearly not worth it, the problem with that is that it is really good as well. If you've not tried a VR system yet (Google cardboard doesn't count) then its really hard to get over just how amazing it can feel to play some of these games in VR.
I think if you have all the other kit and you also have £400 (for the system and some games) disposable income to spend then there's probably not another way of spending it on gaming that could give you such an amazing set of experiences.
