I know this isn't an ideal solution but can you just buy short hdmi extension cable so you can leave one in the TV so you aren't always faffing about with the tv and possibly damaging it? That way you can place the hdmi plug you need to keep switching in a more practical place and this only costs about £10.

Just a thought but I do realise this just adds to the horrors of cable spaghetti.

The TV side stays in place.

You connect TV to PSVR to use that, you then unplug from PSVR and connect it to the Pro after having removed the HDMI from Pro to PSVR to use HDR and then if you want to use the PSVR, just repeat the above but in reverse.

Obviously this will put plenty wear on both the outputs of Pro and PSVR HDMI sockets.

Has anyone tried the Star Wars VR mission on Battlefront yet? I recently uninstalled Battlefront so it's going to take me ages to re-download all the updates before I can play it.

High praise indeed, can't wait to try it tomorrow. Sounds like they'd be silly not to make a full game of it, I'm sure it would sell a few headsets too, especially at a lower price by the time it would be released.

So it's been almost 2 months since this dropped, same question again, plus some others:

Have those of you who experienced motion sickness early on managed to get used to the sensation?
Any buyer remorse?
Any recommendations for someone who's tentatively exploring the possibility of investing?

I'd give it a while till they make a fully fledged game for it, seems like the majority is short and sweet. With me considering VR for Scorpio I haven't seen a single thing on this that excites me.

I never got over motion sickness in some games...but that's not a problem.

No buyer remorse.

To be honest after trying everything and playing the gooseberry fool out of Rez Infinite I've not been on it much in the last few weeks, but that's only because since switching to contact lenses I've found VR to be a much better experience (not that it doesn't work with glasses, its just an extra complication) and I've just not found myself with many opportunities to play with my contacts in. Obviously with the Battlefront VR mission and the updated RE7 demo that will be changing soon (plan to play later tonight).

Thinking about getting Werewolves within but would want a group to play with. Anyone here picked it up? Bit more pricey than I would like it to be, but I see it getting rave reviews on some forums. Any general impressions?

I haven't played anything in weeks due to being busy with work and not having much money. There are loads of stuff I wanna try but most VR games are too damn expensive and I can't justify getting them for how short they generally are. I really hope there's some good discounts over christmas.

No remorse here, I enjoyed the hell out of the three games I have so far (Batman, Tumble and Driveclub).

That Star Wars Battlefront VR mission. strawberry float me, it's just utterly incredible. A full game of that is surely a stonewall system-seller. I'm asking myself 'How much would I pay for a full Star Wars Rogue Squadron VR game?' and whilst there's obviously a limit on available disposable income practically, I don't know at what point I would be priced-out of a purchase. Hundred quid? Definitely. Two hundred quid? Probably. Three hundred quid? Er, can I pay in installments? Even though it hasn't been confirmed as even being in development, this is now my most wanted game.

Ever.

I've got one of these reserved at a local Argos and the reservation expires tonight - for those who have made the plunge already, any buyers regret? Is it a mor expensive version of the Kinect or is it truly worth the investment? I already have the camera and move controllers.

Its not Kinect...but is it worth it? Difficult question to answer I think.

At the moment although there is some great content out there, its somewhat limited in scope and its expensive (as in the games are expensive for what they are, just because they are VR games). Its also obviously not a perfect system, while the Move controllers work they are old tech that's only just up to the job in VR, placing a 1080p screen right up close to your eyes is obviously comes with a downgrade in picture quality and then the games themselves have to be pared back to run at the required framerates for VR.

So you might read that and think its clearly not worth it, the problem with that is that it is really good as well. If you've not tried a VR system yet (Google cardboard doesn't count) then its really hard to get over just how amazing it can feel to play some of these games in VR.

I think if you have all the other kit and you also have £400 (for the system and some games) disposable income to spend then there's probably not another way of spending it on gaming that could give you such an amazing set of experiences.

Eurogamers Ian Higton (who loves the tech btw) gives a good explanation of why it's awesome but also why he's a little worried about it.

I only got around to trying the Star Wars mission recently but it was well worth the wait. Being able to look around and see your R2 unit behind you, and look up as various ships passed overhead was awesome. I'd love it if they announced a full game - although I think they would need to give you more control over the ship in terms of being able to perform barrel rolls.

I haven't used my headset as much as I would have liked since purchase (to be honest the biggest pain is setting it up), but I'm looking forward to Ace Combat as well as Resident Evil if I can be brave enough to play it.
