Set this up last night. Only managed to squeeze in half an hour or so of VR Worlds because of the football, but my initial thoughts...
Set-up: so. many. cables. Pretty straightforward overall though. Took a bit of fiddling to get a decent fit with the headset but once it's on it's pretty comfortable.
Ocean Descent: this was a great introduction. Looked and sounded great, and is the perfect kind of experience to show off the technology. I was really impressed by this, and am looking forward to trying out the other modes on it tonight.
Danger Ball: again, very enjoyable. Looks good, and is responsive and easy to control.
London Heist: I only did the tutorial and shooting range mode on this, but was pretty decent. I feel like this would be better with the Move controllers, but worked well enough with the Dualshock. Will probably try the main mode tonight.
VR Luge: wasn't really a fan of this. Started to make me feel a bit odd for the first minute or so, but I got used to it. I think steering with your head just takes some adjusting to.
I was also knackered and in a really hot room though (wearing the headset makes you feel hot too) and so that probably didn't help how I felt. Not sure I'd really go back to this though, just wasn't particularly enjoyable.
Going to try the Scavenger Odyssey tonight and perhaps some other demos.
How long to people tend to play something for using VR? Wonder whether it's something you need to build up time with and adjust to, and whether your eyes get tired more quickly than playing a game on the TV.
