Sorry for not getting into the game (again). I was halfway through a game with randoms. It was on the map that was in all the games, on the seafront with the seaside shelters and wrecked cars. They made loads of the weapons lockers in the shelter and horded the heavy weapons whilst i ran around as a scout picking up double energy +20% deposit bonus. It worked really well.

Also Im liking the hammerburst again now.

Died on wave 7. It's certainly a challenge on your own

Sent out a load of invites out at 9.30pm but nobody replied so went into a random Horde game. Worked out great as easily got to level 20 with them so got Hardcore Challenge I Bounty which got me 20,000 XP sending me up about 5 or 6 levels at once.

I never got one...

Me neither. Just got to Wave 16 on Normal with 4 randoms, 1 was a lvl 1, another lvl2. But we had no engineer (I was the only scout) so all defences were run over easily.

I was trying for the 10k Xp too but as we didn't get thru wave 20 it didn't pop.

Loving Horde though. Is there a mode to play as the attacking Horde like there was in a Gears 2 (or was it Gears 3?)?

You should have had a message from me saying I couldn't make it as up early this morning. I'm around later if anyone fancies a game.

Ive scrapped a load of my weapon skins to get horde skills up.

EDIT: I think I should have taken more engineer skills. I kind of went mad on the scout ones. The scout has alot of skills.

I wasn't online at all last night mate, I switched my xbox on, but we watched tv instead :slol:

My xbox was on, but i wasn't on it. If you'd have watched my status for 2 hours you'd have seen it didn't move off the home screen.

Just completed wave 50 on normal with randoms. Two of the other guys were on PC. We had no scout. The PC engineer seems to be able to repair everything, and pull turrets out when i didnt think we had enough power, and Ive got 24% off. I suppose i could have bought loads of packs so he gets the maximum 48% off?

I'd be up for some Horde tonight pretty much any time after 6 if anyone else is. Think I've a couple of ya'll on Xbox, I'm BY aka The Don, I have a mic somewhere so hopefully can find it if some games are going down.

Just finished Horde wave 50 with randoms on Relic. Loved it.

No one spoke apart from me but teamwork shone through. The engineer kept repairing caltrops, wires and beams and refilling turrets between rounds.

I was a Heavy and manned a turret from wave 15 onwards with huge success. In the end we had 5 manned turrets built in a line with all wire defences straight in front. A decoy strategically placed in front as a lure meant many easy kills. No one died in any wave and revives were few and far between.

Randoms FTW!
