N64 is one of my favourite consoles. I'm still missing some key titles because I'm still imagining that I can find them for less than the mad money their going for. Car boots aren't as fun as they used to be since everyone got the internet on their phones.

I have a HDMI modded N64 and while it's good I'm not convinced most people would think it's worth while.

I'm also in the process of modding an SP-100 with an SP-101 screen. I then plan on putting the SP screen into the original GBA shell.

Yea had some good memories of the N64 as a kid. Getting used to the controller again is an education. Although there are some excellent 3rd party variations.

I'm very fresh to the collecting scene for N64 so have a long way to go. Not sure on market prices for games or accessories or anything so it's a learning curve. I started my Gamecube collection first to jump ahead of the curve. Plus it was the first console I was able to fully appreciate due to being a bit older.

I currently have an original GBA which I've reshelled, an original GBA reshelled and modded with a AGS-101 screen, a frontlit SP-AGS 001 model and my pride and joy, my Game Boy Micro which I've upgraded a higher capacity battery. I play all my games through a flash cart, the EZ Flash IV Omega. More convenient when carrying (and risk loosing) multiple carts.

I do keep looking into getting one of the flash carts, just seems like it would be a whole lot easier. Even when playing at home.

On the N64 if it has Mario in the title it costs more than everything else. Conkers Bad Fur Day is also a pricier game.

The EZ Flash Omega is awesome. Its probably the best GBA flash cart plus it plays GB and GBC and even NES roms. It acts like a super gameboy when playing GB and GBC games so you get boarders that suit the game you play plus colour options and loads of extra settings.

That doesn't surprise me at all. Never been interested in complete collections just want games that i like or like the look of. Not going to pay silly prices for some games. I'll wait until I get lucky or emulate if I'm that desperate.

What's the hdmi mod like? Looking into getting the one for the gamecube but they are a bit pricey. Is it worth it?

Had an evening on the dreamcast

Some games are still great, like shenmue, soul caliber, daytona. Others I remember being great are in fact guff like MSR and Sega rally.

Pls enjoy some ropey camera footage of my tv with Daytona playing (which still looks and plays great, really holds up against the ps3 version).

Following on from my purchase of a Virtual Boy a few months back I thought I'd fill some other gaps in my retro hardware library.

This month I've picked up an Atari 2600 (Which I'm having RGB modded currently so it will run through my OSSC/4K Monitor) which game with a massive bundle of classic games including Breakout, Combat, Centipede Yar's Revenge, Asteroids, Space Invaders, Pacman, Donkey Kong Also came with four joysticks, two paddle controllers and an Atari 2600 Jr console (Which I'm going to be selling). It's in lovely condition considering its age and although the games didn't come with boxes they did all come with their manuals (which are in absolutely pristine condition).

I also picked up a recapped Game Gear with a big selection of games and the adapter that lets you run Master System games.

Never owned either system before but I'm looking forward to giving them both a go.

Been sorting out my retro corner in the games room. I've since brought over the PS2 and have an original PS1 in the post. The Xbox is modded with hundreds of arcade classics as well as emulators and roms from Nintendo, Sega and Atari. Sadly the Xbox disc drive is borked so I don't have any Xbox originals.

I am after an older CTR, but the somewhat ancient HDTV I picked up via free-cycle does the job well enough for now.

Here we go! My games room is in a bit of a mess at the moment doing a bit of a revamp hence why my home consoles are stacked in front of the TV lol.

So yea I'm always looking to add to my collection. On the look out for a Gameboy player plus the disc for my Gamecube, a DS Lite, AGS-101 SP, DMG and Pocket Game Boys and more Game Boy Micros. Also want to add a Game Boy Neon, it's a modded DS Lite with the top screen lopped off. A guy makes them on Instagram and sells them in limited batches so waiting for him to make more to grab one.

Nice handhelds.

I do kind of regret selling the two Neo Geo Pockets (camo blue and Silver) and GBA SPs (blue and silver) I used to own.

I was going to get Sega Rally DC for launchbox, but read that the console port runs at half the framerate of the arcade version, which I'll stick to instead.

Thanks man! The green and orange is a reshell. I picked an artic GBA and it was grubby as hell so I thought I would use the opportunity to try a reshell. I always like going for colour contrasts so I found the green shell and then the orange buttons came up and I was like YES!

I have plans for that one too. Going to put a backlit screen in plus a mod to adjust the brightness plus I'll install a new louder speaker + amp.

The silver and black one I bought premodded with the screen but I now feel confident enough to give it a go. Might actually reshell this one too not sure if I like the silver and black... Maybe translucent blue and clear buttons?

As you like Gamecube, Doom, here's some extra colours you can get.



White one is PAL but without a digital AV out and the Orange one is JP NTSC with Digital AV out.

That orange one though! Always loved the look of the orange one... maybe one day! Mine has the digital output round the back too but sadly the cables to use it are way to expensive. I've seen mods that you can plug into the digital output that converts it into an HDMI port. They sell for about $150 with shipping to the UK I'm sure that price would shoot up.

The orange is beautiful, you can usually get the controller's for a reasonable amount on eBay.

I've got one of the plug in and play options on pre-order, still cheaper than getting the original component cable.

Yea I've seen them around they don't seem too bad on price. I'll eventually own an orange console too. You can get a mod which lets you switch between Pal and NTSC which I will invest in when the times right.
