What are these score things you speak of?

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

Found a retro shop near where I'm staying in Berlin. Shall investigate.

If you don't want to buy my copy of ikaruga you could just say so instead of leaving the country ;)

Anywho, my barely-retro collection of 360 racing games is approaching a satisfactory level of completeness according to my restrictive criteria, not including stuff i have on pc, xbone back compatibility or is unnecessary/a load of shite. I might do one of those collection photo things which are so popular in these parts at some point too.

I'm waiting for a couple more to turn up from musicmagpie, so will wait for them to arrive first.

When I was in Canada recently I found a nice little gaming café where you could sit and play on a Wii U, Xbox, 360, PS2, PS4, PS1, Wii, SNES, NES, Mega Drive, N64 or a PC while you drank your coffee. They had a cabinet of games that you could help yourself to, nice seats/open space, and from the looks of it little tournaments and league tables and such. Also seemed like they ran gaming nights, D&D nights, and sold the odd bit of merchandise, like Zelda keyrings and Mario figures, that kind of thing. Nice little place, would definitely go regularly if I lived nearby.

Also, if you guys are on the lookout for controllers, figures, merchandise etc, where do you tend to look - eBay/Amazon marketplace, or do you have specific websites you go to?

If Jacob Rees-Mogg did videogames comparisons, they'd be something like this...

An interesting comparison of all the versions though. I was watching a video of the German Resi 3 on Dreamcast and once the enemies are shot, they flash and then disappear! Strange censorship.

My first NES purchase in about 5 years, and it's a classic (albeit one of the last NES classic games).

Star Wars!

The NES version reviewed incredibly well at the time, including a high 90s score from Mean Machines :)

It was also an incredibly expensive game, which is why I presume it didn't sell that well (at least in the UK)...

That brings my NES collection up to 59 games :toot:

Picked up Dark Rift(N64) and Cybernator(SNES) inboxed for under a tenner last week. Admittedly that's a tenner I don't have.

Knowing Andy’s penchant for quality, I wonder if this may have been the purchase?

Or, if the belt was tightened just a little, perhaps this tasty example could have caught his eye?

I think if we're honest with ourselves, deep down, we all know it could only be the first one.

Andy, you must have a cracking collection of SNES and NES gear now. It’s cool to read about your enthusiasm for the stuff.

Also is this rebuilding a collection like with your SNES one, or is it just collecting games you like?

Sadly, this is all rebuilding my original collection which I sold in a moment of madness.

I'm pretty much there with the NES now, have about 12 games to go for the SNES and 14 for the N64.

I also sold my entire Gameboy, GBC and GBA collection, but haven't made a start on rebuilding that yet - doubt I will. Not sure I have the energy (or money)!

Will take pics asap!
