I played these games years ago and always found them to be pretty solid. I wish they had a rerelease.

Have you got a list in the bought/played/completed thread? At the rate you're going its probably longer than mine!

No I really dont have a list.. I have tried to list my games before but its always proved to hard... I really just buy old games as a bit of a buzz... Looking for them and finding them cheap relaxes me and strangly enough helps keep my PTSD at bay so I just push and push with it.. yeah its kinda hoardery I know

A few of those I'm interested in for sure, assuming they're in good condition. Will keep an eye on the trading thread.

They're all in good to great condition, I haven't even touched the manuals in most of them and the discs have only seen the inside of one console.

Also no-one in my household smokes so nothing is nicotine stained.

PM'd you about a few of them - that's a hell of a collection though. Are you sure about going through with the sale?

Very nice collection. The only one I would be interested in is Skies of Arcadia but I'm not in a position to take it off you at the moment given the prices it goes for.

Sorry about your situation mate. But we will at least take care of your games. Out of these, Luigi's Mansion, Rogue Leader and possibly Ikaruga. Yeah nope I'll get that on steam

You'll almost certainly want to eBay things like skies of Arcadia and sealed Zelda collectors edition but hopefully anyone without can offer you reasonable prices less hassle and eBay banana spliting fees that cream the value.

Does anyone know the best way to work out the average selling price of old games, other than just trawling through countless ebay listings.

I've got a few people interested in a couple of the more valuable ones and I'd prefer not to appear too greedy with my prices but at the same time I still want roughly the same amount I'd get from selling on Ebay (minus fees obviously).

Search for your desired game and then click the "Sold" button on the left-hand side, dude. It'll show all sold prices for the past few months.

Fake edit: It won't show the average, but you'll get a good feel for the pricing.

With some people I worked with I used to look at the cex prices, I'd look at what they sell it for what they buy it for then use a price smack bang in the middle....

Certainly.

It might take me a while to price everything up though as there's quite a lot (more than I realised).

This site should save you a lot of time, https://uk.bidvoy.net/ , but it doesn't always have a result, and sometimes prices are lower and higher than you might perceive them if you look at completed eBay listings, which is a good shout. It's a good idea to only look at completed AND sold listings on eBay, and also look at what % of games actually sold, based on their price (don't waste your time just look at the first page of results to get an idea of how much is too much and where there are bargains you can avoid pricing unfairly for you). This way you can get a good idea for what kind of prices people actually pay, as opposed to what sellers just want, which can sometimes be totally ridiculous.
