This really saddens me. Incredible songwriter and a great singer who always made pop more interesting for his presence. Gutted. Why can't Trump die?

My mum will be devastated, she's obsessed with him.

When I was little she used to jokingly ask if I'd like to swap my dad for him, to which I'd get upset and shout "Nooooooo, I don't like him!"

I wasn't a fan of Wham! back in the day, or of his solo singles when he was still in Wham! but his duet "I knew you were waiting" is in my top 2 duets. I also really like Praying for time. When he appeared at Live Aid with his designer stubble, earring and shades he looked a complete strawberry floating dude.

RIP George, I expect people will remember you at Christmas thanks to "Last Christmas" and you dying on Christmas Day you strawberry floating legend.
