If I (or anyone else) can't express their opinion for fear of being shouted down by the majority and/or you guys at the top, then what is the point? We are not all going to agree on everything, and I also believe that we all have the right to point out any inequalities that should be addressed.

Anyway, if showing your true colours means that I'm not one of the standard forum yes-men, then I'm quite happy for that to be the case.

I have been looking for that, and the zelda monotune (from the retro games, I think you heard it when you did something sequential to the game, like find a sword, unlock a door.... etc!)

Mods you can lock this now if you want. My original intention was to drum up support for Sarge's return. Not undermine your authority or call in to question the role of blue hates. I think I achieved the original intention, regardless of whether Sarge was going to come back or not, and now it's just getting side tracked by personal attacks on me from "the group" as I shall refer to them as I expected. All I wanted to do was to show that we need to keep members like Sarge for the good of this forum, not gain myself attention. It's obvious "the group" don't want me as part of their gang, and I don't want to be a part of it either, so their sidetracking of this thread was obvious, hence my comment in the OP about this eventually getting locked.

So yeah, lock this baby up mayne!

See above. That's not all you were doing at all. You were deliberately rabble-rousing, as you bloody well know. And, of course, you've now had at least two ten-page+ threads that haven't yet been locked where you've spat absolute rubbish at the mod team. I think that 100% puts to bed the notion of you not being allowed to express your opinion. What you seem to be saying here is that you should be allowed to talk absolute crap, but the mods shouldn't be able to answer back. Well, THAT sounds fair. The reason you're being "shouted down" is because what you're posting about how the mods operate is pure, unmitigated shite. It's the divisiveness of it that really gets me - the hypocrisy of YOU daring to claim that the mods are divisive is almost beyond belief, as splitting the forum between mods and "normals" (that term says it all, doesn't it?) is what your posts are plainly designed to achieve.

Raising valid concerns is perfectly legitimate and welcomed, but your untrue and unfair allegations about how the mods supposedly operate are not.

The fact that in the other thread you were simultaneously asking for evidence of various things to do with Sarge's banning/non-banning so that the mods could "prove" they acted fairly, while also making allegations about the mods when you have no sight at all (ie. evidence) of any posts/attitudes/policies in the mod room... now there's hypocrisy and double standards for you. No evidence required then, eh? Of course not. Your agenda should be obvious to anyone capable of reading.

So are you telling me that Sarge didn't over-react to being caught out- Especially given Garth's admission that maybe he hadn't been consistent? An admission (though welcome, and respectfully received) that makes most of the sentiment in this very topic somewhat misplaced?

Rabble-rousing is the same as wanting an answer? So be it. Spitting rubbish at the mod team? Hardly. I have almost always supported the mods and admin team when necessary, but will also call them to account if the need arises, and quite frankly I find your claim that I am 'against' you somewhat childish. As I said, if I feel that you are wrong, I will tell you. As for the who 'us-v-them' situation, you say it doesn't exist, that's your opinion and again, fair enough. I see it differently, and again this whole sorry situation is as a result of one rule for some, but not for the majority.

What allegations? What I was being told didn't match the evidence. The majority were happy with the answers given simply because Sarge is popular and MCN isn't. As for respecting the the GRcade population, many aren't worthy of respect, but the ones who are receive it from me by the bucketload. But, the point is, at the various points in the various topics you are alluding to things didn't add up, and if my requests for answers and clarification offend your high ideals of modhood them accept my deepest apologies...

What agenda? FFS, all I wanted was clarification. I have no intention of looking for some kind of sad revolution, its a games forum, not a political party.
