Works like a dream doesn't it ? My only problem is when I start drinking in the morning I just don't stop, and then its a wasted day ! lol

I'm not much of a beer/lager man myself. Usually stick with spirits. Though I don't mind a Guinness from time to time. Or that pear cider stuff. As for being drunk, it's alright, I prefer being just a bit tipsy than being completely wrecked. Also I've never had a hangover, I did think it was because I usually sobered up a bit before going to bed/sleep. But even when I've gone straight to sleep when pissed I still feel fine the following day.

Don't really drink spirits, give me a nice cider or ale any day of the week.

I'm growing to like the taste of fine wine and may one day become a connoisseur if I can get a better job than stock room guy at Woolworth's.

Are you the one who's only about 15?

I think I was 16 when I first got wasted, which is probably quite old for it. 'Twas fun though, good times.

I like drinking, but think everyone apart from about three of us at uni should be banned from drinking. At least all I do is fall over and piss on bowling greens, not start crying. :x

Yarp, not 16 till February. Considering all my friends drink (but with no intention to get drunk) I'm surprised.

I'm only 23, but I've already somewhat gone off being drunk. For a start, hangovers seem to get worse as you get older. In the past I could get absolutely wasted, have a bit of a hangover the following morning and then quickly recover. Now they seem to last for almost a day, regardless of how drunk I get. Even then, these days I much prefer keeping my wits about me, rather than make a fool out of myself. I drink socially, then switch to coke when I start to feel the effects.

I love a good ale though. Spitfire, Bombardier, Old Speckled Hen, Abbot Ale et al are lovely. I like stouts even better though, with Guiness being my favourite drink in the world. I'm partial to a bit of whiskey or brandy too, but obviously not too much.

I take pride in the fact that I'm one of the only people I know who knows when to call it a day.
Waking your flatmates up at 3 am by running up and down the hall screaming at the top of your lungs seems to be a regular passtime if my flatmates are anything to go by. .

Not been drinking for about a month now.

Though, I've had perhaps....4 pints in that time.
So technically I have been drinking.

But a pint a week down from 35 or 40 a week is pretty good! :D

Strange how drinking changes as you get older.

When I first started drinking I was sick every time, but no hangovers :( . Then there was the no sick and no hangover stage 8-). Then there was the hangover everytime stage :( . Now the have to drink gooseberry fool loads to get drunk, then occasionally will get a killer hangover stage :?
