PostGF is a password thief? *Turns out it's my housemate*
by Fatal Exception » Mon May 11, 2009 8:41 pm

She was around this weekend, only overnight saturday and for most of Sunday. I had to pop out for 1 hour to go to work to sort something out.

Tonight I come up to to my main PC and find a list off my passwords on a piece of paper next to it. :x

Now my laptop doesn't have a password and I let her use it when she needs too, it has passwords for this place (although I clear the history) and MSN stored on it. I'm strawberry floating pissed, the only wait she could have got those passwords would be to run 'password recovery' software on my laptop. Quite why those passwords were next to my main PC is a mystery I'm going to get to the bottom of when she turns her phone on :x

Advice? At the moment I'm going through anything I used those three passwords for and changing them. I'm annoyed because 2 of them were really long sequences of random letters and numbers that I'd memorised.

She's got some splainin to do.

I'm sure it wasn't her. Maybe it was your housemate?

I honestly can't think of a good reason why anyone would do this.

If she was stealing them you'd think she wouldn't leave a piece of paper with them all written on in your house next to your computer, unless she's totally dense.

Impossiblé. My secret answers are always nothing to do with the question.

Apart from when he berates her for being a mentalist I'm going to say no.

She's definitely an undercover cop.

Maybe she was writing them down so you wouldn't forget them.

Don't be so harsh FE she was just being nice.
