It's fun as long as you don't take it at all seriously.
Technically it's a pile of garbage with some of the worst driving physics I've ever seen to the point where just blundering down mountains in trucks is worthwhile just because it's just so fun.
The voice acting is atrocious with special forces guy saying stuff like "gooseberry fool balls!" like a 12 year old.

If played single player I can see this being absolutely terrible but with 4 people and just cocking about it's not bad at all.

I have to agree, this is not a great game by any means.

But, it is strawberry floating fun to play.
Climbing mountains in jeeps and motorbikes racing to the top like something out of motorstorm was brilliant - but nothing to do with the game or missions :slol:

The driving definitely needs massive improvement.

Trying to negotiate a simple bend when the car decides you need to be thrown off the road into the hillside would get annoying if it wasn't followed by laughter and giggle fits. (The scene in commando where he pushes his broken Jeep down the hill to catch the baddies springs to mind!)

I think if we can keep finding the fun in the games misgivings it'll be worth a purchase.
But like Pete, I wouldn't dream of doing too much Solo play on this.

Also the tractor = best vehicle.
Which our team found out. One by one. As I ran them over or pushed them off cliffs.

I'll upload it now, but I'm not editing it, it'll just be the full thing.

Yeah I'll be back on around 9 again. Want to see how it holds up. First night was good fun, but are we gonna run out of silly things to do? That's the worry when the game itself seems a bit "meh".

Glad some people are enjoying the game. Are you guys planning to get the game at launch?

Should we try and play it more seriously tonight then?

See if the meat and bones of the game still is enjoyable as a four man team?
Then drive tractors off mountains for the last 10 minuyes

I may hold it off a week later or two to see what the reviews say and there are a couple of games that I want to play more than this.

But, I may buy it at launch who knows.

Edit: I am also worried how much content will be available in the final product as I have completed everything 100% in the beta and it's almost nothing to do next. :?

I'm interested to see if it's possible to play this game stealthily in SP with your AI team. Most YT videos at this stage are showing the usual 'running about' madness, driving insanely, just smashing stuff up, etc. I'm interested to see if there's a more considered, serious game lurking beneath that for those so inclined to try and play it that way.

I really can't see this game being fun in SP, it's just so wonky.

Watched an hour stream of this and despite having the beta on my X1 I didn't bother launching it, looks utter wank.
