Agreed. Bobby Brown's 'on our own' automatically makes it an excellent movie.

Vigo was a far more scary antagonist than Gozer.

Although I love both movies, the first one is still the best. The comedy is way better.

I have fond memories of The Real Ghostbusters cartoon but don't know if it was actually any good.

I used to enjoy it, had some of the toys.

I also had the wearable proton pack and the trap that you could connect to it :datass:

Made a sign for my bedroom door Proclaiming I was a real ghostbuster and that I would train others. i was 32

I really enjoyed the 2nd one as well. It had some great moments , was very funny in places and the soundtrack still sticks in my mind.

I wouldn't say it was a bad movie, but certainly nowhere near as good as the first.

The imagery in GB2 with the river of slime, Vigo, the photo exposure room and the bathtub scene are really genuinely scary moments.

I saw GB2 well before the first one so I may be biased but I love them both. They're awesome. Although 1 is the best. 2 is strawberry floating scary though for all the reasons posted above.

I remember a fast food chain doing a big promo for ghostbusters 2 when it was out, having a slimer topper on the cups etc. might have been Burger King but I'm not sure that existed in the UK at the time. Either way the song was, " hey you, we're having a paaaaartyyyy" and ended with Ray saying, "what a ride".

I recorded that advert along with the gremlins 2 one and used to watch it over and over :oops:

I used to hate that bit. Still turns my stomach.

Another bit I find creepy is the titanic scene. Especially with the music. Something very eerie about it.

I always thought the bit in the tunnel when all the heads on spikes appear to be the scariest moment,
