Sounds quite good. Although an alternate control system for non-drum kit owners is a must.

And sounds like it'd work well on the Wii through the Opera Browser, although I'm sure that'd be a lot more extra work to get Wii motion controls working on it.

Rock Band doesn't ship with guitar or drum controllers or microphones. Would you argue that an alternate control system is a must for that? Admittedly the context is different, but I'm sure you see my point here. (Though don't worry, I don't want to totally prevent people without the appropriate kit from playing this; it will probably just be the recommended kit, with alternative possible input.)

It's not exactly necessary. A drum controller is basically just four/five digital inputs, so you it could easily be linked to a standard controller for those without one, though obviously a large part of the fun is going to be in requiring more than one button at once and that's going to be quite awkward on a standard controller.

Indeed, most Drum controllers I've seen seem to emulate standard functions of the normal controller.

This is still looking very good. Rather innovative as well, I must say.

Very interesting. Love the fact that even musically retarded people like me will be able to enjoy this.

I've played this. 8-)

It's merely reminded me how gooseberry fool I am at real life drums. :(

What are you developing the game with? Max/MSP? Flash? Director?

Well colour me impressed. It's nice to see an innovative finished project come through. I'm just disappointed I can't play it because I don't have a Rock Band controller.

Could you possibly add keyboard controls so that anyone can try it out? It's possible to type rhythmically I suppose.

Maybe you could even add USB MIDI support, although it would be far easier to just add keys.

How has the exposition been?
