Yeah, just to flag, I think I'm on 16 points now. Do I get to asset strip, too?

I believe you get the only asset strip (in your division).

He gets two for being both top scorer and lowest placed survivor.

Shame I went out just before the head-to-heads, but can't complain too much with how I did considering I was last to pick on the first day. GG everyone and cheers to DML for running it. Someone make sure he doesn't win it. ;)

Heart League

Sawyerpip is relegated. :(
As he is second from bottom (ie second) - Kanbei gets the first choice of asset strip from Sawyerpipswich Town.
As the top scorers, Dan will get the second asset strip.
Next week is Ajax AmsterDan vs Milton Kanbei Dons for the Heart League title.

Diamond League

As top scorers this week, Posernborg bagged immunity.
As a result, Moggy is relegated. :(
As both the team who are second, and the team with the most goals - Poser may asset strip two players from Borussia Moggygladbach.
Next week is Drumstrikers vs Posernborg for the Diamond League title.

Clover League

PPM is relegated. :(
As the top scorers and for being in second, Hank may asset strip two players from Paper Mache Monaco.
Next week is Wolverhampton Wolverers vs Hanktar Donetsk for the Clover League title.

Please get your PMs in now, deadline is Tuesday evening.

-----------------------------------------------

NEXT WEEK

This was your last chance to asset strip, and this week is your last chance to trade. The GoalGetters trade deadline closes on Thursday at 9pm. Once this deadline passes, your teams are locked for the rest of the game.

Next week is title match week. It will determine who wins each league and goes on to the final week to play of in a Triple Threat match for the GoalGetters title.

The rules for next week are simple.

Immunity still counts, so the team who scores the most goals WINS.

However, in the event of a tie, the team who was HIGHEST in the table will go through. (Our version of the away goals rule!)

Three winners will win their team a league title, and will play off and attempt to 'Do the Double' and win GoalGetters 2015.

Good luck to all who remain, and commiserations to Moggy, Sawyerpip and PPM. You played a great game.

Kane (TOT), Ings (BUR), Rooney (MNU), Aguero (MNC), Sanchez (ARS), Pelle (SOU), Benteke (AST), Bolasie (CRY)
vs.
Giroud (ARS), Sturridge (LIV), Austin (QPR), Welbeck (ARS), E. Valencia (WHM), Mata (MNU), G. Murray (CRY), S. Long (SOU)

Jesus Christ. I certainly know who I'd put my money on. :dread:

Can really go either way, though. Really, I should have walked the league. But I've made some poor decisions (dropping Remy :fp: ) and I also seem to have cursed the form of Aguero, Ings and Kane (apart from his hat-trick that week.)

I'm going to mix things up a little with my asset strip and final trade. Here's hoping it doesn't all go tits up... :shifty:

It's not a huge gamble really, considering form and who's playing who next week. Having a really strong all-round squad means nothing if I don't score more points than Kanbei this weekend.

DML, are you counting Tuesday and Wednesday's fixtures (Hull vs Liverpool, Leicester vs Chelsea) as part of this week, or next week?

The Tuesday/Wednesday fixtures will be included THIS week.

The final Triple Threat week will encapusulate the following Saturday/Sunday and Monday games, making the final fixture the Arsenal vs Hull game - barring a tie. In which case we go one more week as a tie-breaker.
