I really think I might need to shake my team up a little.

OK, desperate times.

I wish to trade Navas (MCY) for Bolasie (Pal)
I wish to trade Balotelli (LIV) for Nugent (Lei)

I was determined not to make any trades, but I think the sheer shitness of these players has forced my hand. Responding to Bolasie's hat-trick at the weekend is an obvious knee-jerk reaction, but I think he has more chance of scoring than Navas.

Heart League -

Dan is the top scorer, and also top of the division.
He must decide whether to relegate Joer or Sawyerpip.
Whoever he DOESN'T relegate will be second from bottom and will get to asset strip from the other relegated side.
Dan will then get the second choice of asset strip.

Diamond League -

PatSharpsMullet is relegated.
Poser gets first choice of asset strip from Sharpsborg as the team second from bottom.
No team secured the top scorer for this week solely so there is no other asset strip.

Heart League -

Parksey is relegated.
As the second from bottom player, PPM gets first choice of asset strip from QPR.
As the highest scoring player this week, I get the second choice of asset strip.

Please get your asset strip and relegation choices in, trades are now open for those who spot is guarenteed in the next round.

Remember now there are only three players in a division, so immunity now becomes super important! If you are the top or joint top scorer you are safe. Scoring a lot of goals is the only way to now feel really safe, as if your two opponents score more goals than you AND the same number of goals, you go home! In any other scenario, we revert back to the league table.

In that case, can I take out Drogba (CHE) and trade in Navas (MCY)?

Is it wrong that that is one of the main reasons that I did that trade?

For some reason I thought that if you scored zero goals in a game week, you went out ahead of the lowest scorer overall. Was convinced I was out  I'll do my asset strip once I'm home from work.

You want Pelle over Hazard or Silva. :dread: I waited 7 weeks for him to score for me, and when he finally did, I went out. :(

Despite being my last pick, Ki was my top scorer with 3 goals.

I deliberated long and hard about that. I think I'd take a striker over a midfielder - even a great one like Hazard - most of the time.

I also believe that in patterns, and that a player's form can ebb and flow. I recruited Aguero because he had just gone ONE game without scoring - I had no idea his drought would last for several games. :fp:

Pelle seemed to get a monkey off his back with that goal at the weekend, and he's better than recent form would suggest. I think that if Saints are going to score, it'll be through him, which makes him a decent signing in my book.

Time will tell, I guess.

I could see how you would get that impression. To date scoring no goals in a week has almost always proved fatal.
