God of War III Collectors Edition...

...could include God of War and God of War II, re-mastered or not!

I'd like that, all HD'd up for PlayStation3!

What's more interesting perhaps is one or two of the options in a poll that was put up to ask fans what they'd like to see in said collector's edition.

While it asks your interest levels in things like a soundtrack, figurine or soundtrack, the most curious one has to do with including God of War and God of War II on Blu-ray. Now, folks with backwards-compatible systems can play those games just fine, Blu-ray or not. But gamers with newer PS3s wouldn't be able to. If said titles were to be included in the box, you would have to assume that Sony would somehow make them available for play for anyone who buys it, backwards-compatible machine or not. We'll leave the details up to your imagination (as that's all we can do right now), but it only makes sense to us that this couldn't be a straightforward burn onto a Blu-ray disc. Somehow, Sony would have to make the game run on every PS3, which might mean that other tweaks could be included.

I would love HD versions of the originals. Also the next Jak and Daxter should come with the original all HD'd up.

You're unlikely to get HD versions of Nintendo games any time soon.

HD version of the first 2 games would be amazing and I'd definitely get that version.

What are the chances of getting a collectors edition worth buying? Probably never going to happen.

Go to the poll and make it happen people. Surely if enough vote for it then Sony will see it as a money making opportunity.

Remakes! Make it so, devs.

This needs to happen, if only because of Sony's bloody idiotic BC policy.

They could just restore BC and be done with it, but this'll suffice, considering GoW2 is what I want most out of BC anyway.

Amateur coders have come up with this over a few years:

I don't believe for one moment Sony can't spare a few of their coders to get BC up and running on emulation in the PS3.

This needs to happen. Playing number 2 recently the only thing that needed to be sorted was the jaggies.

Well if it doesn't win I'm wearing my God of War I and II Bluray around my neck for some major Bling bling. 8-)

Given that I never played the previous two, this would be a God (of War) send. Also, that volume of hack 'n' slash with QTEs all at once will likely kill any desire to play another game even remotely similar.
