Love it. Been a steady increase in quality from the opening episode up until about episode 7, then a bit of a dip when Genny came back from Honduras all Kurtzian. It's full of clichés, but so beautifully filmed, and well-acted that I don't mind one bit. The sign of a good drama that I cheer for one particular parasitic, murderous parasite over another.
A lot of people who've been watching it seem to agree that: TV series > Film > Saviano's original book.
Got to wait until 2016 for the second series, though. Booooo.
At first I wasn't so sure about how they flipped from character to character. But the more I watched the more engrossed I became. It just grows on you unexpectedly. Characters I'd root for became people I didn't like at all and so on and so forth.
Genny coming back was interesting. I liked the change in character and was reflective of the difference in the ages between all the members of the gang.
The final episode is an absolute stunner!
