Hey all,

A friend of mine wants to go on a last minute ski trip. We only have a long weekend. Thursday to Sunday, so I was wondering if any of you know where is best to go that is reasonably cheap and has good snow.

Of course due to the time we have it would have to be in Europe....and lets rule out scotland as there may not be any snow!

We'd have to hire the ski's by the by.

I recently went to Alp D'Huez and Les duex alpes. If people know these resorts, I'd be looking for something a bit bigger than Les Deux Alpes. Any suggestions....?

Sorry this isn't in the travel topic...as it's more of a question and ask the forum doesn't exist anymore I thought I'd put it here.

I went to Bankso in Bulgari in 2009. It was extremely cheap compared to the likes of the Alps. Obviously the infrastructure/apres ski was nowhere near the same standard but the mountain was fantastic. Might be worth a look.

How much are you looking to spend? I went to Meribel a couple of weeks ago. £790 for flights, accommodation and a three valleys lift pass with Inghams.

I could spend about £400 to £500...baring in mind it would only be 4 days, i think this is doable?

I think you'd have to book it yourself, I doubt a tour operator would do a 4-5 day skiing holiday for you.

Yeap, just fishing for ideas of where to go etc. Looking at Bulgaria, flights to Sofia are difficult for my timetable, Krakow not so much though.
