It doesn't really matter though. 4GB would be enough to run Reach or any of those other games.

Has to be a RRoD/other error.

That's a joke, seriously, what a strawberry float up. Take the lot back and make a huge complaint. No way that it's not allowing you to play because of no HD. :fp:

I was tempted to get the 4GB pack because the Xbox is Matte and not dust magnet gloss. Won't bother now I don't think.

BUT NO

You see, when I join Maf and suzzopher's lobby, it won't let us start the game. There's text flashing, and my name is flashing.

The game could not be started because one player does not have a hard drive

WHAT.

THE.

strawberry float.

IS.

THIS.

I do have a hard drive! Four GB! It says right there on the strawberry floating box! THERE IS A strawberry floating DOT WITH "4GB" UNDER IT IN THE COLUMN WHERE IT'S SAYING THE strawberry floating HARD DRIVE SIZE.
Image

Why the strawberry float, Microsoft? Where's the warning that the 4GB hard drive DOESN'T FREAKING COUNT?
Image

Nope.
Image

Nuh-uh.

Not here either.

Or her- OH WAIT. There it is. That miniscule, 4-word sentence buried in the small print, that's not even explained. "Console memory is internal". And that's it.
Image

Surely the ODST box should say that you need a hard drive to play co-op, though? I don't remember seeing such a warning on it.

Not on the front.
Image

Or the bac- OH gooseberry fool. There it is. Buried in print so small I can't even photograph it. "Hard drive recommend, and is required for some features".
Image

strawberry floating bravo. Seriously. Way to inform your customer, you sneaky banana splits.

I was using an 8gb flash drive with about 3gb space on it, and Reach wouldn't work in co-op online, which is why im saying is the hard drive

Edit: Called it ;)

That's terrible. I'm at a loss for words, no way they can get away with this.

Contact Microsoft and complain. Or even better, one of the gaming news sites (such as C&VG).

Take everything back to the shop for refund. Did you get it all from the same place?
