Does anyone remember this frankly brilliant horror series? I just watched "The Haunted Mask" on youtube, it holds up today.

The books were the best bit though.

So yeah, great series or GREATEST series?

I use to read them fanatically, the night of the living dummy ones were amazing, for a childrens horror book they were pretty gripping at times.

i can barely remember the titles now though, i remember getting about 50 of the strawberry floaters at one point.

I strawberry floating loved Point Horror as a kid as well, but Goosebumps is more well known.

Funhouse from Point Horror really messed me up as a kid.

Goosebumps.

I used to love them, had quite a big collection of them. Actually think I still have them in the loft at my parent's house. Can barely remember one of the titles though.

I used to read them all the time when I was a wee bambino. We still have them all in the spare room. Night of the Living Dummy was my favourite. Although in reality, they're really pretty naff.

EDIT - I also had a habit of drawing the cover of each book. I had tens of pages of drawings.

I'm trying to flog all mine off, I have over 50 of these things but I can't get into them anymore. I remember seeing the theatre performance which was really funny. I think it was meant to be funny, a kinda of scary funny.

The Headless Ghost was the first one I ever read and probably one of my favourites.

Ooh, the one with the scarecrows was good. Ahh, memories. I have the Horror Land board game too, which was brill.

End of first chapter wrote:Suddenly, a dark figure appeared from the alley and grabbed my shoulder. Help!

Start of second chapter wrote:Phew, it was only Grandma leaving out the trash.

I did this by severing my real arms and replacing them with super-human cyborg arms.

The TV series was pretty scary when I was young, as were the books. Gotta' love Goosebumps! I hardly remember any though...

The one where kids were on a camping holiday in the forest with a grizzly-wolf-thing prowling the woods at night, only to find out at the end that it was a robot and they're not on Earth.

YIKES

I used to love Goosebumps. I've still got all of them in my wardrobe.
