I use old socks. They're perfect. As soon as one gets a hole, it gets washed twice (once inside out), and serves as a screen cleaner until the next holed sock comes along.

I normally don't see their very desirable that that I never need until I flick through the catalogue at my retired parents house. I swear they get one a week!
