The level of detail never fails to impress.

I'm currently struggling massively with the GR.1 Prototype Series menu book - first of all I'm struggling to find the right car. Secondly I'm struggling with timing my pit stop to change tyres and refuel, thirdly my pit stops seem to take about 40 seconds which just kills any progress I've made climbing up the pack, fourthly I seem to get a 6-second penalty every time I leave the pits because I'm crossing the pit line on exit even though I can't even see what I'm doing wrong. It's infuriating :x

Low fuel mix for most of the stint, drive conservatively but quickly. When the other cars start to pit, put the fuel mix up and push for a couple of laps so you gain time while they're stationary. On your in lap push like strawberry float and use all the tyre life.

Is the ability to change your fuel mix tied to the difficulty setting you're on? I don't seem to have the ability to change it during races (or pre-race for that matter) and I'm wondering if it's because I'm playing on baby easy mode

You use the MFD to do it in race (d pad left/right to cycle the menus, up/down to change the setting).

There’s a challenge type that is all about fuel efficiency that teaches you about changing the fuel mapping on the fly while racing.

My advice would be to just set it to 2/3 and only worry about how much fuel you have left. It’s quicker to run on completely dead softs for a lap to make it a one-stopper than it is to pit twice.

That's a pretty hefty update. Will give it a go as I missed out on the sophy stuff last time.

The impressions from the video is that they’ve toned down its difficulty a bit. The Purple flavour in the previous mode was basically like you’re racing Max Verstappen. I don’t know if the emote popups from it can be turned off either. I’m sure that will boil your piss

It just crashes in to you and forces you off the track?

Sounds like a big update, but I had my fill with GT7, probably won’t go back to it.

The Legendary Cars track real world pricing.
