Cool, thanks for the info, jiggles. It sounds like the game will be expanded further in the coming months.

Update and 50% off makes this very tempting. Anyone played both this and Forza 7? Honest opinion, which is the one to go for?

Must admit much prefer GT usually.

:toot:

Just shows that they were wrong about what GT sport should be. This and the heavy discounting so soon after launch must mean it's not doing too well after the initially flurry.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Update 1.06 content (planned for 27 November 2017)
1. Campaign Mode, Scapes, and the Livery Editor features will become available also when offline. (However, an online connection is still required to save game progress).

2. Some elements of the car physics simulation model have been improved. This can be noticed especially in commercial cars, which exhibit less grip on the road, with improved sense of realism and controllability.

3. In line with the changes above, we have adjusted the difficulty level of the Driving School and Mission Challenges in the Campaign Mode, to allow a smoother game experience.

4. In Sport mode races, the judgement algorithm of the Sportsmanship Rating (SR) has been improved. Furthermore, it is also now possible to see the deductions of SR points not only for yourself, but also for other drivers involved in a collision/incident with your car.

5. ‘Autumn Leaves’ has been added to the featured Scapes photos. Some new photo spots have also been added.

6. 3 cars will be added to the game as free DLC.

I've moved to a new flat and didn't have any Internets for a while. I've also been playing a lot of video games which, let me tell you, really takes a chunk out of my free time.

Damn those video games!

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I bought this today, when does the normal GT modes drop?

They do a lot of dick waving with their opening video which goes on for about 10 minutes which is annoying.

saw some right muppets in the gt4 race today in brazil alot of people ramming into each other for no reason ramming into corners even when i gave them room i ended up backing out dropping to near the back of the field and watch the ram fest into each other. I didnt even bother to pass as i knew i would get rammed into for no reason. One race earlier same race again gave space yet still turned into me on the straight even though i was letting them past another time going into first corner they both outbreak each other go off course i go past but cause i cut the corner i got a penalty which i take by going offline and the track yet still one of the cars behind from first corner incident drives straight into me so i quit as it was pointless as they were just ruining peoples sp/dr ratings.

I might snag this today while it's cheap. Not spent any time with a GT since the first one twenty years ago so it'll be nice to give it a shot, especially with the expanded SP content just being added.

How much VR stuff is there? My understanding is it's tied to a specific mode rather than the full experience, but is what's there substantial or is just a small amount.

The SP campaign isn't in yet, that's coming in december. The vr is a one-on-one mode separate to the main game, so definitely not the main focus.

I just ordered this from amazon for £19.
This must be one of the most heavily discounted games of all time so soon after launch.

I have created a GRcade decal and uploaded it to the community, search for grcade and it should come up. Here's a quick and dirty GR livery:

The livery editor is online for everyone now and it really is a step above forza, no longer do you have to spend ages making logos by hand when you can convert them to an .svg file in inkscape and upload them straight to the game.
