This stream is so dull. So far they've just shown some broken leaderboards of people who played the demo.
Plus the audio is out of sync.

Remember the first time you played GT3 and heard "seven days in the sun" and were all like 'OMFG this is the best thing ever in the whole universe of forevereres!!!' Yeah, well I'm not feeling that at the moment.

And now they're showing the trailer for the second time :fp:

That's my breaking point. I'm giving up and will catch up later.

After UC4 I'm expecting graphics that look better than reality, otherwise it is just lazy devs.

What's better than reality mean?

Looks mediocre in every regard. Even the sound effects are shite. The tire screech on that oval track

I put the demo for GT2 on the other day. I'd completely forgotten the audio was totally strawberry floated on it. God knows how it got through testing.

Graphics are a bit bland. I'd put it down to the cost of VR, but even Driveclub VR manages to retain its gorgeous looks.

Looks OK but I'm not sure what the big hook is? It sounds like a GT Prologue but with esports, am I right?

Last few Gran Turismos have been so sterile and boring, will take a big improvement to tempt me this time round.

Remember how strawberry floating pumped you used to get just from the intro to the first game?

I'd rather play that game now than the guff they showed tonight. Even the glimpses of crusty old graphics tracks in that ps1 intro have more soul than the sterile stuff on show in sport.

 Slightly misleading screen as there's other footage (of the same stretch of track) with *slightly* better looking trees.

How did the more recent GT games play? Is it that other racers caught up to/surpassed it and so GT's looks are now that much more important?

People still call it a simple when it's anything but. Go and play project cars for a direct comparison and then laugh when someone calls GT a proper sim.
