Did anyone else experience this? I'm guessing it's worth me deleting and trying again?
On the PS4 it wasn't stuck for ages, but the whole process took ages. Maybe just the progress bar was inaccurate and it wasn't really at 99%? Did it complete in the end?
I completed the story last night, I enjoyed it. Great characters, Trevor seems believably psycho. I like all the refinements but there has been no-real change in the gameplay.
Some quick rambling observations. What I think is the most amazing think about this game is the depiction of a a living breathing world that exist oblivious to your character. So you have all the pedestrians crossing and walking and reacting to your behaviour; gun out, stalking them chasing them, car thefts, police, fire brigade, but also to traffic situations. And the way the traffic moves and the AI of the vehicles. (I mean some of it is I see the same code from the original GTA games such as when oncoming traffic is heading towards you they will fake move right then swerve to their left.) In some games it seems like the cars are on a conveyor belt, but here cars move but you also see individuality in their movement. And if you add a new element to the road such a car in the middle of it, they react to it. Swerving, smashing through, road rage etc. A true technical achievement to be proud of.
Had a go on this last nigh, doing my favourite multi player actiVity, taking a helicopter onto a medium sized building in the city and sniping people, lasted nearly two hours with ten or so rather fantastic trick shot kills as people drove around/were being chased before someone got sick of my gooseberry fool and air striked my building.
Someone even tried to get me with a helicopter but I killed them in the pilot seat!
I used to love doing that. Quite enjoyed hiding on the roof of the airport too, some good cover there. I miss multiplayer a bit, but strawberry float am I paying for Live when I can just re-buy the game on PC soon for about the same price.

As much fun as you both are having, killing a camping sniper is a joyful experience.
Quick question. The cars and stuff that was added in DLC for the 360/PS3 versions, are they integrated into the base game now and you find them in the world, or are they still only available by a menu in the garage?

Thanks. That seemed to work. Weird.

Yeah, the percentage probably wasn't accurate. I didn't let it finish in the end. Was taking way too long.

I know that you can buy the Freedom Monster Truck on the in-game internet, but you have to have a hangar to deliver it to.
It was already a 10/10 game on 360 but with first person view, upgraded graphics, new camp gain missions (got invited to a photo completion; don't remember that from the 360 version?) and heists incoming... It's gotta be an 11/10 game. Stunning work.
The first person view makes the game a lot harder - it's so much more intense! However, I've found that you do adjust and the GTAs have never been particularly hard anyway, so that's no bad thing.
Edit: I've adjusted the first person controls to 'Standard FPS' and played around with the sensitivity settings (generally increased the sensitivity) and it feels a lot better now.
So this is a bit mad, the main 'guy' has to own a grade a appartment, and his saves are the ones that matter, the major problem for me is I only have 2 mates who own this and one of them rarely plays online during the week so ill be playing with 2 randoms in my team of 4.
You need to be level 12 or more, I have a ton of money to buy a place and im level 18 or something. I can't wait, so glad I can save after each thing aswell.
