Plus the mirrors don't work, so there's that as well, not that you can see them with your nose up against the windscreen.

Yeah thats really weird. I see why they did it (no point having nuanced reflective surfaces eating FPS on a primarily third person experience), but still would be nice to have the option.

I tried to accept that tennis invite Irene but it made me create an online avatar first and then I couldn't work out how to join your game.

I invited you by mistake too, I was trying to invite Rog who'd suddenly vanished. I got some in game calls from you but I couldn't work out what they actually did, I think it's supposed to be voice chat or something

Destroyed Rog with my serve anyway 8-) (and hitting the ball into the right corner which must be bugged or something because neither of us could return it from there).

Tennis is really boring

I don't own this but I'm tempted to get it just so I can golf with Falsey.

I could happily listen to Belinda Carlisle singing circle in the sand all day.

Damn, I've got a 6870 and was curious how well it'd run it, but I guess not that amazing. Oh well, it's handled most of what I've thrown at it well so can't complain.

I worked out that I needed to call Mors Mutual Insurance through the phone. You pay a small fee and they repair it and return it to your garage.

And if you destroy others cars then you pay the premium.

I'm not bothered about the FOV in first person but affter seeing the comparison pictures, wow! There really is a big difference, even on a 15 degree increase.

I've been pottering about with some of the settings and it does alright on my aging rig.

Really due a couple of upgrades but on my old Phenom II X4 940, 8gb RAM and a more recent R9 280 I'm getting low 20 fps on 1080p at worst.

The opening tutorial mission was great, getting a solid 60fps for the most part, but once out in San Andreas itself it drops.
Needing to tweak some settings but I'm beginning to think that most of my problems these days are with the CPU, which is my next upgrade once I've got the cash to spare. Probably be later in the year.

Either way it still looks great and it's still definitely playable. Just need to wait and see what performance tweaks and advice appear in the coming weeks.
