PostGraphical madness HELP

People, lend me your noggingssss. Having recently played both Bionic Commando and Red Faction on 360, my experience has been diminished by the sight of some sort of graphical tearing or ripping of the picture. Im using one of those fancy dan TVs. So if anyone could suggest anything to fix this unsightly and unfortunate gash- up, id be mighty grateful.

If you're playing in 1080p then try 720p.

Also VGA is prone to this try HDMI.

Or buy both of them on PC.

Console gaming is dead - just ask Rik.

I dontt know any Riks. But if i did, im not sure he'd agree with you. To the 1st suggestion, iv tried reverting to 720p - no joy there. And im currently using HDMI. Im HDMI til i die, mate. Cheers anyway.

For those of you who don't know, Rik's taking up PC gaming again. From the PC thread, here's his shopping list -

1 x actual motherfuckin' Skynet

1 x box of screen wipes

You could try 1080i, some games just have screen tear I'm afraid.

I have the same problem.

I know its because of the refresh rate of the screen. Mine is 60hz, and I presume yours is too, or thereabouts. This problem just doesnt exist with 100hz+ sets, so, there you are.

Normally this is the kind of think you'd turn on Vertical Sync to solve. Sadly, it's not an option on most 360 games, but playing at a lower resoltuion should signifantly reduce these problems.
